This was made using a game called TaleSpire! It's still in the early access version and can be found on Steam. I think I picked it up for about 20 bucks? It's got a community of people making tons of maps of all sorts of campaigns so it's worth a look!
@@chriskleinmaier4522 the diagonal walls are made using props which unlike tiles can be rotated beyond the cardinal points to let you make diagonal structures. The wall you are referring to early on in this video, is made by stacking a prop in the MISC. External a small cube of stacked stone bricks. Its just a bit time consuming but easy enough to do.
When my group was asking Volthamp about Floon, one of them asked his shoesize... all they did from that point out was look at peoples shoes if it was the right size. They determined that Renaer was telling the truth about not being Floon by checking his shoesize... It was so odd and hilarious.
Fantastic walkthrough. I stumbled on this storyline while BSing a group through a second chapter on a full arc where I plan to introduce Szass Tam. Already had them go through Luskan and a few small towns. Had a great holdover moment/ former player moment where a goodly character proffered up a relic of Malar to the evil Kuo-Toas living adjacent to the lich. Now I’ve got wer-sea creatures brewing!
My players ended up going outside and I made so they witnessed it. They ended up chasing the bandit successfully which uh.... resulted in them getting the stone WAY too quickly but it worked out since once of them is moving soon
LMAO sometimes thats just how it goes! Hopefully they were able to at least get the house so, if you guys continue from there, they'll have a home! Unfortunate to hear that you're losing a player but hopefully your group can continue to have a fun time! For my group, we just did Table Top Simulator for a while when people were unable to show up.
I discovered your channel recently. I love the overview, because iam looking for an adventure to run. Personally i liked the earlier videos more, cuz the pictures from the booking are more immersive and you picture it yourself. But none the less, I love it
I'm glad you like it! Yeah, I've been thinking about going back to the older format. Talespire has made editing these videos much simpler on me but I'll experiment with including the pictures from the book as well!
Thanks so much! Oh boy, yeah. I've read it a while back and holy smokes, I presume that'll be a long one. Had planned on making a video on it soon, it's just so daunting! Currently working on Storm King's Thunder but I'll jump on that adventure afterwards! Thanks for keeping from procrastinating it lol
We played a party of villains in this one and managed to trick the dragon and bluff the city watch into thinking the gold was stolen after we agreed to secure it for the city. We made off with nearly the entire sum of 500,000 gold in what was truly an epic heist that left me fearing the gallows multiple times.
what program was used to make the art?

@@DnDWalkthrough I have it too! But how in the heck did you make a diagonal wall?
Oh, I'm not too sure? I usually just use the community-made maps for my stuff. If I recall, changing the directions is done via holding alt?

You're like the spark notes of modules and I greatly appreciate this. I realize that I forgot to tell my players even what the stone was
Ooo, I like that! Damn, wish I had named this channel DnDSparknotes.
Thanks for watching!

Thank you! Was looking for something like this.
Anytime! I'm glad you found it useful!
Love the videos! Please, please, do Storm Kings Thunder 😁 thanks
Love the love! Sure thing! That's one that's been on the backlog for a while.

@@DnDWalkthrough Totally disagree I love the talespire aesthetic personally. Feels more like a tabletop game.
Great video as always, would you consider doing one on dungeon of the mad mage? :)
Thanks so much!

@@DnDWalkthrough yeh I bet, by far the largest module they've done so defo a challenge! Looking forward to storm kings :)
Every time I run this my players gets high as kites when they go to xoblob’s shop. Then drunk at the bar right after.

I swear to god are you pronouncing things wrong on purpose?
