The ENTIRE financial system is ILLEGAL. ALL of the banks, mortgage companies, credit card companies are engaged in raqueteering. If any individual does what any of these institutions do, they would be thrown in jail for "loan sharking"...PERIOD. The IRS is in that same group! I don't understand how people don't see this! The American people believe they are free, greatest country in the world! "Democracy"! Buy a house, "the American dream"! YOU NEVER own that house! Even if you pay cash for it and get the deed! Because that's not the end of it! Because you have to pay your taxes. Don't pay the taxes and they take it from you. You NEVER stop making payments on your home, or property. If that isn't loan sharking, I don't know what is.

Started to track my finances in Excel roughly ten years ago to save more money, and definitely completely changed life. It's all about making sure you know where the money goes and investing it long-term 💰

@@HengSenS haha not much of a template, just categorize basics like income, groceries, lunch out, restaurants, entertainment, alcohol etc. It's more about the 80/20 and ACTUALLY writing it down. It's more about habit formation I think rather than Excel 😊 I share some thoughts on this on my UA-cam channel actually ☀️

Great video! Ramit's book was the first I read on the journey to fix my finances. Aside from automation and paying yourself first it really helps to make saving fun and challenge yourself. There are various challenge ideas available on YT. One of my personal favorites is the 100 envelopes or 100 days challenge. Rather than purchasing supplies for this I just set it up as a simple checklist in a notebook. Doesn't have to be fancy to enjoy the benefits!

    About the 9-5 cons:
    - you trade your time for money. The most valuable thing in the universe is your time.
    - you are working for the betterment of someone else's business or government, not yours
    - the money can't scale
It's not about how many years it takes to be rich, but about out of those years what % did you give away? Investing trows away the smallest %, so it's best. If you know something better, tell me, I'm still learning.

Phenomenal video. I'm just in the phase of building that war chest. I try and put $150-200/month into it.
Focusing on eliminating the debts i have and then slowly getting myself built back up.
This video was so good because its not like all the other "money guru's" who basically just call you broke and tell you that you just need ro increase your income and invest.
This one gave practical advice to people who are just starting.
    Well done!
