People are talking advantage of this deed! No one is compling with the demands of the call of duty any more! For example ZRP officers are suppose to work as escort for people to courts just as they escort the President of the nation Zimbabwe were ever he goes in the Country . The police is suppose to escort the VID to the respective Vehicle inspection points in the road just as they are suppose to escort CID ( Criminal investigation Department) officers to inspection points. In case of war soldiers are added as escort to the ZRP escort . If the Zimbabwe Republic Police is to conduct elections at any given time of the year irrespective of what time of the year it's, even a year after the elections 2024 without ZEC and the Courts of Zimbabwe's concern whoever becomes the winner is automatically sworn in as the Head of State and Government, Senator, Member of parliament or councillor! In quiet honesty, this whole theater has nothing to do with him, as his
'presidency' has been only a formal gesture the last 5 years, and much more with his spouse Grace Mugabe. The presidency of Hon. Robert Mugabe is undisputable.
His position is a position of honour and ceremonial.
Just like Gaddafi was to Libya. Heck the British have a 90 years old ruling for over 60 years. So a transition was going to happen anyway, just like Cuba made a transition under the Castros 3 years ago.
Anyway, this could be very well be the works of western intelligence agencies, the Brutush, The pink Rhodesians, white South Africa, World Bank, Gold, Mining and Resource Corporations, etc. They all want to re-enter in Zimbabwe.
Either way, it was a foolish thing of the army to use the constitutional laws of Zimbabwe for such a display, a 'lawful' coup. These things need to be dealt with politically and diplomatically.
