Much like the KegMeister on the instrumentals .. this is what PK has done on the past albums .. there are quite a few to listen to ! Referring to the many instrumentals from the amazing Phil Keaggy ( the KegMeister ) .. "What A Day' is one of his first !
You are, hands down, the best Guitar Demo player on planet. No one captures the vast dynamic range and possibilities of each guitar you demo any better and more completely. I'm always even able to hear little squishy areas in each guitar's fret-zones, and have a sense of where my first issues would be with each guitar, or if there would be any. The little zones of fret buzz, the clarion areas, relative to pickup positioning and the tonal variations depending on whether you're using fingers to pick or a plastic pick. Staggering bravo. If anyone can spend 10-50K on an amazing vintage instrument without playing it you are the conduit to that transaction. Hope they're paying you well for what you do!
One of the best clean Les Paul sounds I have ever heard. Guitar too rarely used in this register. Very elegant. The sound of the second half more loaded reminds me of John Scofield, it is far from being a criticism.
Ja...über den fender Verstärker kommt die Gitarre richtig gut..man hört das holz irgendwie...aber nochmal vielen dank, dass ich dabei sein darf, wie die gitarren getestet werden..was für ein Gitarrist...wirklich..
I love all guitars since it's toned right, each one has it's magic, but I must say, I'd never see nothing like this... Probably the queen of the guitars, in a great guitar toner hand, what a sound! For real, I've seen a thousand before. Congrats! Great player also of course.
Happy New Year! What a beautiful, tasteful piece to find on 1.1.23 😀 I have a (more or less) identical model from 1968 - it's not always obvious when talking about Les Pauls in general how beautiful the simple, clean tones can be.
Genau so
It is an improvisation, in most cases Tobias improvises and does not know beforehand exactly what will emerge. Sometimes he processes well-known melodies or chord sequences and improvises on them.

I'm a Fender guy but I can't deny a nice old Gibby when I see one.
Same here. Normally I find Gibson too dark. This one sings.
The Lespaul customs or the Eastman sb57 usually have a clear glassy sound.

Tobias gets good tone out of most every guitar.......style.
Some of the best guitar playing I’ve ever heard!

There's a RHCP Californication solo bit at 03:58.

SWEET SOUNDS!
Beautiful playing. What a nice, mellow tone from that Les Paul. Do the new models sound as sweet?
Sehr schön!
Great playing- cool looping- don’t play my custom enough
any reason why the volume knob is at 7 if your not using it? Just curious.

I actually played on a 69 LP Custom today at a guitar show. Nicest neck I've ever had my hands on. Only 30 grand haha
Beautiful and inspired as always. A concert in Paris Tobias?
Nice song, Interestingly the solo of the band Red hot chili peppers! Very Good! 3:57
The pure clean tone reminds me of PBS shows from childhood. And elevator music.
That thing is a jazz machine.
Jrazz
what kind of pickups are in these?
Lovely. What a great song. Did you improvise, or is this something you wrote?

@@VintageGuitarOldenburg Excellent. He’s definitely become one of my favorite players on You Tube. I love his style. Very inspirational.
Love to know what that peddle is.......
for those learning guitar like me, he's playing C# minor aeolian
I can't figure out how all the old guitars end up in Oldenburg ha 😊
Шариков научился на гитаре играть 😳
