I got mad because I always loved the spino as a kid and there's a scene where some other dinosaur comes on screen around 2/3 the way thru just showing its spine coming out of the water, like obviously making reference to spinosaurus, and it turned out to be something far less cool. When I saw it I was expecting either a more accurate spino or the one I knew from childhood but I was run a muck led a stray bamboozled etc.

Probably due to incorrect proportion and depiction of Spino in JP3 due to recent findings. Spino is more puny and closer to prehistoric marine reptiles (such as mosasaur) now.

How can he be the villain if he's a normal dinosaur? He's not like spino or hybrids, they're genetically modificated creatures with an extreamly aggressive and unstable behavior while giga is just a big carnivor dinosaur like Rexy, then his kill count doesn't change his dino role's quality, giganotosaurus is a realistic, aggressive and intimidating predator in this movie, defenitely one of the best big predators of the franchise for his animalistic behavior, such a cool dinosaur.
@@Dtconyx Sure, cause’ the Theri totally just set its claws out and looked at Rexy to say “Here, throw him onto my claws.” Actually the Theri and Rexy never actually fought the Giga together. Rexy first fought alone, was knocked out, then Theri fought the Giga. Rexy woke up and the Giga could not decide which of the two was the bigger threat, and the Theri attacked him one last time, which got the Giga thinking it was the bigger threat (and thus focused on it), and then Rexy charged at him. So Rexy saw an opportunity in that moment and used it. That’s called smart fighting. If anything, Rexy had way more help against the Indominus Rex. The Giga wasn’t even close to killing her, he only knocked her out, while the I-Rex almost did kill her.
@@darthmeticulous6901This is not undermining what you said but I believe that when Rexy woke up from being knocked out she was still in the mind set of fighting the Giga but then she saw that the theri was just chilling right there and seen that the theri could just slice up the Giga so Rexy waited for her chance to strike. Also the theri is thought to be blind and when she heard Rexy’s roar the theri might have thought something else was there and thus moved its claws outward to defend from the possible new attacker and that’s why it kinda just roared in a kinda odd way almost like it was surprised.

The therizinosaurus being kept in the battle was awesome. For once a herbivore can fight without backing down. My only gripe with this fight is they mad the giga's death the entire team fight, instead of simply being a "finish him" move
This is the 4th time in six movies (and that doesn't even count the times it happened in the "Camp Cretaceous" TV show) that Rexy suddenly appears to save the heroes from something even worse. I tend to think that she's actually grown quite fond of the human characters, that's why she follows them around to bail them out of the trouble that they always seem to find themselves in.
I thought the same thing. She saved Owen from a Carnotaurus in the second movie. Although that might have just been coincidence, but I truly believe she knows the humans well at this point by their smell.
imo, she has a an incredibly intelligent brain and dpenr jp1 going “Is foo? Eat.” But after masrani came around she learned “oh okay, animal means eat, human means give eat!”
I like how the humans inadvertently helped Rexy win by having a light from the helicopter that hits her eye, just like she’s inadvertently helped them in the past. I know I keep anthropomorphizing her, but I honestly believe she recognizes them. Remember in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom when she saved Owen from a Carnotaurus? She had to have known that Carnotaurus was going after Owen.
I wonder if Rexy recognises Alan, Ellie and Ian from the first film all those years ago. You can just imagine her thought processes in this scene. "Oh, it's you guys again! And you're in trouble again. OK, stand back, I'll take care of this."
I REALLY wish Grant, Malcolm, and Ellie got a real moment with Rexy. Maybe them taking a long, sad look at her after she goes down. Maybe some line about how she looks so good after all these years or the bad memories she brings back....idk
I have to say the part where the Giga and Rexy circle and death glare at one another is just so badass, really shows you their hatred towards each other. Also Rexy looks so badass at 2:58. And finally this part 3:23-3:30 has to be the most badass and awesome shot I’ve ever seen in a dinosaur movie.
I agree the part where Rexy and Therizinosaurus roar in victory after killing the Giga is badass along with music too. Coolest final battle ever in dinosaur movie.
I love shots like this. 0:10 - 0:12 Just like the scene with Owen looking up at the Indominus back in (2015), we're given the perspective of a threatening creature and briefly gives us a look of how Rexy looks down upon humans. Small, insignificant, powerless, and just straight up weak.
Watching this fight in IMAX was terrifically amazing. Seeing the Queen T-Rex and the Therizinosaurus standing victorious over the dead Giga was brilliant.
You seem to forget this T-Rex being old and also weathered down by a lot of previous fights. Rexy is kind of a hardened vet at this point, winning only by experience and luck more than sheer strenght.

The actors clearly had no idea what they were reacting to. Obviously some director shouting 'keep together. Act scared. Will add in the dinosaurs later!' So they are all just looking in random directions at nothing. Absolutely awful. Compare this to the Trex scene in the first film. Absolutely night and day difference in quality.

The very bulk and strength of the JP franchise Rexes are different than how it is in JW, and yup like you said, Rexy Buck as well as Doe are way past their prime. Closest we've gotten to a Rex fighting in it's prime was Bull (though he still had a bit more of growing up to go through, R.i.P homie) and maybe Big Eatie though she might be a bit past that. Heard there'll be more Jurassic media upcoming, to be brutally honest I sincerely hope they keep Rexy, Buck and Doe out of fights and just let them live out their old age in peaceful retirement lmao
Y’all forget Rexy is supposed to be a territorial animal. Therefore she’s gonna defend her territory. Or maybe even vice versa for the Giga if Rexy was brought to the sanctuary last. Either way they are gonna fight to the death to reign supreme over their territory. The Theri is for sure defending itself from being killed and just so happened to be at the right place at the right time. Just my two cents. Carry on.
That’s dumb even in the context of the film, because they’re shown earlier together, they have a bit of a scrap, then they leave each other alone, like animals. So why is Rexy getting pissy now?
Neither want to risk injury so initially it’s just a brief stand-off, if one decides to leave then they’ve no reason to kill each other. The problem is they CAN’T leave, they’re surrounded by mountains, thus they no longer have a choice but to fight to the death.

As much as I enjoyed the fight between the T-Rex and the Indominus Rex in the first movie of the JW trilogy, I really did invest in this fight here because of what was established in the prologue, and the fact that it wasn't just like two killer beasts fighting just to fight but two dominant predators fighting over territory or food, just doing what modern day animals would do. I could have expected a little bit more action out of Rexy, but in all fairness she's a lot older and more weathered and weary, and not in her prime anymore. But it was still satisfying for her to get her revenge and defeat her old enemy, and another dinosaur team up, this time with an herbivorous ally!
But in reality the trex will win due to it's bite force this is just a movie and humans still doesn't understand how strong really a trex bite. On one bite the giga could break it's bones

We don't know how strong the bite really is, but last I checked, Giga would need at least 35,000 psi to be able to do that. Reality is a real T. rex probably would have ended it a lot sooner. Giga has like, 20 percent of the vote pressure and half the intelligence. It used claws and teeth to bleed prey, and it was faster than Rex, but in a straight up fight, th T. rex could tank most of its best tactics and needs one solid bite to finish it

I have to say the part where the Giga and Rexy circle and death glare at one another is just so badass, really shows you their hatred towards each other. Also Rexy looks so badass at 2:58. And finally this part 3:23-3:30 has to be the most badass and awesome shot I’ve ever seen in a dinosaur movie.
I agree the part where Rexy and Therizinosaurus roar in victory after killing the Giga is badass along with music too.

@@amcc.rengoku in fact i didn't say "It's a villain", i said that he's a "bully dinosaur" as narrative role for the movie it self, he was a threat for the characters and for Rexy with theri, Buck and Doe, then i think is pretty sure that he repeatedly attacked them because he was called by the Biosyn's company "the Apex predator of the valley", so if he's called in this way by them means that he show it attacking the other big predators like him, look at his design, has so many little scars, it's obvious that he fought them all just to show who is the real king of the valley but in a quite bad way, it's perfectly normal, so many animals in nature do that and this makes him realistic even more

Why creatoers don’t let T Rex score a normal victory in one on one fight? Like, this is T REX!!! It has the strongest jaws and the biggest brain among big carnivores… They constantly make T-Rex look like a pushover.
When the people just run in circles around the dinosaurs instead of just running straight away from them continuously baffles me.
The actors clearly had no idea what they were reacting to. Obviously some director shouting 'keep together. Act scared. Will add in the dinosaurs later!' So they are all just looking in random directions at nothing. Absolutely awful.
Compare this to the Trex scene in the first film. Absolutely night and day difference in quality.
Never thought we'd see a T-Rex and a Therizinosaurus team up. Kind of the team up no one asked for or expected but the one we needed.

The very bulk and strength of the JP franchise Rexes are different than how it is in JW, and yup like you said, Rexy Buck as well as Doe are way past their prime. Closest we've gotten to a Rex fighting in it's prime was Bull (though he still had a bit more of growing up to go through, R.i.P homie) and maybe Big Eatie though she might be a bit past that.
Heard there'll be more Jurassic media upcoming, to be brutally honest I sincerely hope they keep Rexy, Buck and Doe out of fights and just let them live out their old age in peaceful retirement lmao

Y’all forget Rexy is supposed to be a territorial animal. Therefore she’s gonna defend her territory. Or maybe even vice versa for the Giga if Rexy was brought to the sanctuary last. Either way they are gonna fight to the death to reign supreme over their territory. The Theri is for sure defending itself from being killed and just so happened to be at the right place at the right time. Just my two cents. Carry on.

Neither want to risk injury so initially it’s just a brief stand-off, if one decides to leave then they’ve no reason to kill each other. The problem is they CAN’T leave, they’re surrounded by mountains, thus they no longer have a choice but to fight to the death.

As much as I enjoyed the fight between the T-Rex and the Indominus Rex in the first movie of the JW trilogy, I really did invest in this fight here because of what was established in the prologue, and the fact that it wasn't just like two killer beasts fighting just to fight but two dominant predators fighting over territory or food, just doing what modern day animals would do. I could have expected a little bit more action out of Rexy, but in all fairness she's a lot older and more weathered and weary, and not in her prime anymore. But it was still satisfying for her to get her revenge and defeat her old enemy, and another dinosaur team up, this time with an herbivorous ally!
I am sorry, but giga deserved this win. It is the only one of the big 3 that hasn’t killed a person yet.

We don't know how strong the bite really is, but last I checked, Giga would need at least 35,000 psi to be able to do that. While Rexy is stated to have a bite force of 34,500 N (8,000 psi), so Giga bites harder, and he slams Rexy at all age

In fact Trex might be the most dominant of the land predators. A trex biting force could actually break the bone of it's victims. Jurassic Park franchise has inaccuracy

Reality is a real T. rex probably would have ended it a lot sooner. Giga has like, 20 percent of the vote pressure and half the intelligence. It used claws and teeth to bleed prey, and it was faster than Rex, but in a straight up fight, th T. rex could tank most of its best tactics and needs one solid bite to finish it
The extended edition of Dominion made it even more personal.
