Brahmos laughing on such inferior missiles😜
France should also integrate laser pods and hypersonic missiles in Rafale jets.
@@SomeGuy-yb3slBrahMos has 2 major downsides - size & cost
@@AnirbanSarkar203brahmos is more affordable and for weight we have Brahmos-NG😁
@@SomeGuy-yb3sl Is it when is it available?
The reason why EJ 200 wasn't chosen was because it is made by a consortium of aero-engine manufacturers. This makes licensing very difficult because you have to sign agreements with several companies, and not being able to sign with any one member of the EJ 200 will scupper the agreement.
@@Hriday-q6w
So they also give us license productioning.
@@iimcrandomgamer711 There was no license production at that time. Plan is to buy engines directly. GE was chosen ahead of EJ jet because of future proofing. We also wanted more powerful engine which RR lacked whereas GE has engines with higher thrust.
@@vaimurthy aww coping hard today? The original tender had clause of 50% TOT to which both agreed. EJ engine was selected as it was far superior but GE got the deal due to low bid😁
It will be foolish to believe what Srilankan Foreign M. Says
France should also integrate laser pods and hypersonic missiles in Rafale jets.
Dircm are already in the wish list of the f5 standard. Offensive laser requires way to much power.
Hypersonic weapons are not magic, just like stealth, whats the volume, the weight, the flight profile, the sensor capacity at those speed, can you maintain communication with the plasma being created, are you low enough to actually surprise the enemy or are you so high that you give away your position earlier then a subsonic missile. Are trading speed for range, what is the drag of low level atmosphere on your missile at such speed.
France was the first to demonstrate air breathing engine hypersonic engines in 1962. They know the issues very well and are not compromising or taking shortcuts like the chinese and even the russians.
What about Saras. NAL always slips through unnoticed between Tejas and Ghatak news. Have people forgot about civil aviation sector that is extremely important, where we lag behind. We need an indigenous civil aviation sector to achive our extremely ambitious goals that are crucial, before 2030.
Nope, we dont need to re-invent everything.
Let's leave the news about TEDBF and AMCA for our children to follow.
Yes very good news about India 🇮🇳 😊

India should collaborate fast with France or uk to develop its own jet engines for AMCA and Tejas 2 or IAF will be controlled by USA..
There is very anti India sentiment among UK leftists for some weird reason so yeah UK is not that trustable France is best option
Jai bharat
No country will give India TOT of engine technology. India got to develop this technology in-house.
Jai Hind Jai Bharat 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳👍👍

Lol! Who is that person who thinks tanks, aircraft carriers and helicopters won't dominate future warfare? Before the Ukraine war a lot of military analysts had said that heavy artillery is a thing of the past but the war has proven all such claims wrong. Aircraft carriers, tanks and helicopters will always be useful as long as the military knows how to best utilize their assets.
Shut your shit mouth u idot
As both TEDBF and AMCA electronic suite development reaches maturity, frequency of increasingly elaborate attempts at espionage and sabotage should increase markedly as well.
It's a shame that we can't develop our own jet engine 😔
😊no need to be shame kiyon ki abhi hame engin ki utni jarurat nahi hai abhi Tejas light vargen hai jiske ladai main utarne ki umeed kam hi hai ye internal diffrance ka role accha nibha sakta hai aur Tejas mk 2 abhi kam se kam 10 saal ki deri par hai tab tak jarurat hai engine manufacturing eco system banane ki jisase agar kal assambali line badi karni pade to sochne ki jarurt na pade
WOW NICE 🙏
Nice video
Informative video
First one to watch the video 😊😊😊😊😊😊
EJ-200 thrust = 90 kN
GE-F414 thrust = 98 kN
GE engines, on paper at least, can deliver a higher maximum thrust.
The existing GE-404 engines have also proven extremely reliable.
On top of that GE has engines with higher thrust for AMCA is available. RR dont have one.
@@vaimurthy what engine GE has?😂 GE has told that f414 will be uprated to 116kn. By that logic EJ200 has 120kn variant also. And is a modern engine unlike obsolete f414
The problem ADA was not choosing an engine only for the aircraft but a tach. for future development of own engine, exports right, IPR etc. So cost should not have been considered a biggger factor when they were trying to hit too many birds with one shot. Strategic requirements and future should have been considered first priority. I guess the priorities are misplaced and thats why we see such flip flops even after so lengthy negotiations. All the parameters for selection as such should have been made clear to all the participants beforehand.
We should make use of ISRO to develop indigenous jet engines first or try to make jet engines by joint venture with french's safran company..It hurts to see that we can build rockets but we cannot make indigenous jet engine.
Rafale is good but indias AMCA would be much better as it would be stealthier also with nuclear capabilities. When rafale will be inducted is a question mark. Better hope to our AMCA mk1a mk2 and other aircrafts. Rafale has huge orders. Don't rely on it for so long time.
We dont know yet. Comparing Rafale with a jet which is on paper is not correct
Anything imported should be less in numbers with tot and local production. If in large numbers HAL is there. Now anything is possible for local industry to make any aircraft with any configurations. Let's hope after mk1a mk2 should be stealthier and have some characteristics of 5th generation.
TEDBF should have access to AMCAs development budget.
EJ200 is rights are co-owned by Germany, UK and multiple other countries... getting permission to export EJ-200 would have been even harder...
Better than US engine
@@techeves6024 Not really... Multiple countries means we have go to multiple governments and ask for their permission... Germany for example much stricter norms than US.
@@techeves6024 Nope, US is master in jet engine tech, though RR is better than Saffron. I am not sure whether EJ engine is co-owned, i think it is RR owned only
@@vaimurthy master in engine tech that USA still imports rocket engines for NASA from russia😂 RR has zero independent engine for 60 years🤣
@@SomeGuy-yb3slDon't know why soo anti USA views you have USA is pretty much master in all sectors except very few and fighter jet engine is one of them
Nice🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
1:15 I am 100% sure that some of these shells will end-up in Ukraine.
I wanna talk about C-130 in this video.
By the time the AMCA 5th generation platform comes into service it will be outdated. Should we not prepare a' 7th' generation platform instead? How is Sri Lanka going to achieve "wont allow anyone to Harm India's Security"?
Oh, Yhe 4th gen going to be still viable till 2050 and, you are saying 5th gen or 5.5 gen going to be outdated in single decade. Even after updation of current technologies continuously with time.
Looking at global military industry 4th gen will continue till 2040 conservatively as USA NGAD will come after mid 2030s Russia's MiG-41 and France's FCAS and UK's Tempest won't come till 2040 and China and Japan are also developing 6th gen which will come after 2040s India should work on it by 2030s be in race so 4th gen won't be obsolete
Any meaningful update?
"R-37M" 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
MIL should make sure that the shells exported to Czech Rp will not end up in Ukranian hands.
That's not our concern. We're doing business. Russia also sold some helicopters to pakistan and s400 to the Chinese
If mmrfa tender leads we need 40% more thrust engines for Indian flight conditions😮
We should also fit 300 kms 6 macs R-37 missile in SU-30 buying from Russia under make in India
Are they offering?
@@vaimurthy why care? Because according to you r37 and astra mk3 is not real😂😂😂
How TEDBF can be a fifth gen fighter it has canads
If russia has integrated R37-M on su30, india should get it till astra mk3 arrives. 300km is enough to outclass pakistan 145km PL15-E and china 300km PL15.
Dump F414. But EJ engines are from a consortium. Why not SNECMA M88 ?
M88 is 75kn. We want 95kn engine for tejas. We can ask france for m53(mirage jet) engine which they have phased out now. It is 95kn and far better than this american engine. Plus no drama that comes with American equipment
@@SomeGuy-yb3slagain it was ada decided stuff and hal agreed
Nope, it does not have required thrust and Saffron lacks RR and GE in engine tech
@@vaimurthy which jet engine RR has?🤣
@@vaimurthyRR mostly collaborate with USA for engine they are master in warships and aircraft carrier engine
Which one is more maneuverable - R37M or Astra MK3 ?
Astra.
Astra MK3 is yet to be available, so we cannot compare
@@Hriday-q6w Comparing specs is child job. No use. let it be available and then we can see
Navy should take amca naval varient for their carrier operation. I don't see tedbf a good choice. China will use their 5th gen jet against us. So amca is the perfect option with ghatak naval varient for ground attacks.
F414 can make Tejas wing less anytime.
Dornier aircraft needs massive upgrading😮
Better not to rely on USA's defence weapons. India has to manufacture their own Engines for fighter jets.
First today
It's always better skip US and purchase from other countries. Previous GE was ready to offer the IP rights of the engine and also co-develop new engine to power AMCA. Now we need US permission to export. Better to go with Rolls Royce, , safran or EW engines.
I just realised what are your sources
We all know since ages. Lol
@@SomeGuy-yb3sl sorry for being late lol
Instead of wasting time and money on ted bf and amca india should focus on making own jet engine and upgrade tejas aircraft
These are two different things.. if u have brain … they run parallel … if engine develop after 10 year so india stop developing amca and tedbf… idiot after 10 year they install new engine in place of old one ..

Hi
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Now we have beg for the Mercy of America to export our own Fighter jets....wooow ..💪💪💪💪
@@Hriday-q6w . If they truly said that, I'm gonna believe them this time...🤣🤣
This is last import from USA😃
@@SomeGuy-yb3sl . We are also importing 5 Billion worth of Drones...🤕🤕🤕🥴🥴
@@abymathew295 yes all are last imports now
Problem of not having IPR, nothing to do with GE.
First time early view
US is not supplying with F414 engines neither mq 9 drones for India still falls in Russian groups.
Our leadership at centre never ever got trusted relationship with US.
IAF should also try to integrate R-37M air to air long range missile on Su-30MKI which has proven its exceptional capabilities in russian ukraine war equipped on Mig-31.R-37M will give IAF the fighting punch against PL-15,PL-17 till Astra mk3 gets commissioned in service.
Su57 use it mostly. Mig 31 is mostly used for ground roles.
@@SomeGuy-yb3sl Su-57 has not been used much in combat.Mig-31 along with ground attack role is also meant for interception and the majority of mig-29 kills is done by Mig-31 with radar guidance from AWACS.
@@dev.sh. su57 are often seen in Ukraine now. Ukraine itself tell how su57 is conducting air strikes regularly. The biggest thermal plant of ukraine was also obliterated by su57 recently.
@Wild-Weasel They can integrate them on the 12 newer Super Sukhoi first, and secondly they can even be integrated on older Su-30 MKI bcoz now all Iaf aircrafts have Software defined radios which helps to communicate and even lock missiles using guidance with Awacs,so Su-30 will just be a launcher whereas it will be guided by the AWACS.
@Wild-Weasel But still 177 km bvr confirmed kill is a lot,iaf doesn't even have a missile with that max range, and not the kill zone, leaving meteor of course.
3rd, 4th, 5th generation....blah blah blah.
It still adds up to fantastic pea.

EJ200 engine have better than ge 414.u.s.have not belivable to any defence deal with india.india should 'tgo to u.s. engine.but we almost can believe in french engine.
But our forces wanted top tech. They want US equipment. That means something.
@@vaimurthy that's why pur forces selected EJ200 engine😂
TEDBF - the most useless project ever. Neither ADA nor Navy has been able to explain why no Naval AMCA has been tried, and why a 4.5 gen fighter is being developed to enter service in the 2030s...
Ask the Indian Navy and the government rubber stamp babus that. There are reasons why stealth aircraft were deployed late in the US Navy - could be damage to stealth coatings by sea spray, or the difficulty of concealing ship mounted radars at sea due the how easily surface ships are detected or the lower risk of air combat at sea for ships located a long way out at sea compared with air force planes etc. However there is no reason I can see why a largely common airframe and systems to the AMCA should not be used for the TEDBF instead of the completely different TEDBF design that has been proposed. It seems that the TEDBF team is just doing their own thing just to create their own fiefdom.
There was a report from ADA that Naval Amca would have been a bit more expensive to maintain on aircraft carrier.(That's all we got, Right or wrong you decide)
More like orxa.and tedbf should be selected if indegenious engine is ready and amca mk1 and 2
@@jonswap9097 you answered the very relevant point you raised yourself. Though the F35 does serve aboard carriers, even if it lands vertically which may reduce damage. Fact is, commonality of design, and economies of scale should have scored over, especially as the TEDBF is NOT a stealth platform. Instead we have twisted arguments like "to make TDBF viable, IAF, by far the larger consumer, should order ORCA"!
@@jonswap9097 u nailed it with 'fiefdom'. Quite agree
Who rejected EJ200 in the first place. Babus and PSUs.
It was the PSUs that wanted American engines. Not the other way around.
They choose EJ200 as it was found superior. For saving money HAL choose this inferior american engine. HAL is at fault.
@@SomeGuy-yb3sl Inferior or superior is subjective. EJ200 is highly reliable though. Whereas GE404 has economies of scale and good enough reliability..
Simple, for single engine Tejas we needed higher thrust and GE engine have higher thrust compared to EJ. Second is future proofing. We also need engine for 5th gen AMCA. GE has engines whereas RR dont have one. Also GE engines are highly reliable like EJ if not better.
@@Hriday-q6w There are lot of selection in the steps, final selection is what matter.
Then we should go with EJ200 engine🙏
