I am a G shock collector from 2005 with more then 300 watches.. And i just found out skmei this months and bought a few of them.. And surprised with the quality and price.... Unbelievable... And i just read from watch bligger the one you have is very accurate on time... And i jist orderee it and waiting fir it to come...

The SKMEI is brighter louder and better value, ive bought a few SKMEI'S and so far im surprised at the value they offer - time will tell how accurate they stay and how long the battery and modules last but ive not been disappointed so far.
I can't deny that they do homage with better features but their durability isn't tested yet..only time will tell

What I can say is...the durability of Skmei are suit their price.
Isn't make sense that you pay skmei price, but ask the durability of Casio.
For that type...Skmei got extra point with the 22mm lug size. Easy to find & replace the strap than Ae-1500.
Of course, you can't beat Casio's durability and you are right about the light width

Skmei is good.. but i like their metal watches specially those are homage of casio. 😅
Like skmei metal oak (it has all the casioak feature,only "hand sift" missing and i just dont care about that feature) and skmei metal square(very comfortable to wear).
That's really interesting. Skmei saves a lot of time in design because they don't design haha
i think Casio has to admit they no longer are the best value at least at the very low end, they are now somewhere in the middle ground, most non watch people will probably not see the benefit in paying more for a Casio over a Skmei, and especially a G-shock i mean you can get 5 Skmei's for the price of one lower end G-shocks.
I definitely wouldn't compare Skmei watches with G-shocks.
But with the regular Casio watches yes, Skmei does have watches that are better for lesser price but the durability factor will take years to be judged. I may have to do the feezer test on the Skmei like I did with Casio F-91 🤓
@@TickTockTreasures i know but to a non watch person if it looks like a G-shock that might be good enough when an actual gshock is many times the price, for me personally id rather have the genuine product.

Casio's price is also because of brand history and credibility. You get 2.5 years warranty on a 10 dollar watch.
