I too faced a same problem with flipkart. I ordered 19k worth mobile, but they sent used unknown brand mobile, which is not even a worth of RS 1000 and it's not working too. Being a f assured product they rejected my refund request and also not responding till date, it's almost 3 weeks completed. Not even doing replacement 😭😭😭. Hi, we can buy online only the things which we can't get nearby our place. It's better to consume offline. I too had some experiences and learnt that we should be cautious wherever we buy either offline or online. 👍
I too had this experience during this sale, and I went harsh and wrote review on their site with seller name and pictures of what they sent, but Amazon blocked it. So Amazon owns the responsibility in allowing such seller to sell used or fake products and destroy their own brand name.

I had the same isssue when I bought headset I ordered Sony noise cancellation head phone in flipkart. But I only got steel rod instead of headset it seems it was stolen by some one in the midddle. But my story is not important but when you buy anything just let the delivery boy to open the package and take the video of it. Flipkart and Amazon both have wishmaster option for high rated products be aware dont get any kind of trouble.

Madan your case is different but I too faced a problem buying in Amazon.. they sold old stock hitachi AC… and also in description they mentioned 2 yrs warranty but when I checked with hitachi they informed 1 yr only.. Amazon didn’t resolved this issue by adding extended warranty.. So I ended up using the product… it’s better we have to turn back to shops for purchasing products

I do business with Amazon. What you said is partly right. Be it a normal day or sale period product that seller sends to Amazon warehouse is same. What happened here is somebody has purchased it replaced new one with old used one and returned it to Amazon. Since package is matched to best QC could have missed. What should have happened hear is, Amazon should have identified this as damaged return and sent it back to seller. This is loss to Amazon and seller as well.
What happened to you is exceptional case.
Amazon will track the buyer and block them. Don't just return make a complaint if possible. It will help geniune businesses and customers.

I ordered an hoodie during offer period , but i got a saree which was ultimately the worst saree the condition n material was so bad , so i didn't want to give to some other needy one too , because that's how the saree was and no response from customer care n i rechecked about return policy and I came to know that product can't be returned or exchanged😑. That was my last order on Amazon too.
