One thing that I see consistently in these stories is the freedom everyone feels when they get rid of all of their stuff. It’s not your work that traps you. It’s the stuff that traps you in a job you hate. The “system” doesn’t make us slaves, in our desire to acquire possessions we make slaves of ourselves.
Yes all of us who work just to keep our bills paid every month. And that's what we achieve. We are just slaves to the system created by the powers that be.
I was riding my motorcycle this night. The skies cleared. The weather cooled a little. It was so relaxing riding my motorcycle. We experienced rainy weather for a few previous days. I eventually jumped on the Interstate and rolled the throttle. The speed climbed, and soon, I was going 85 mph. The bike was floating, it was like magic. Smooth running, and effortless. A cool breeze hugged my body as the wind blew past in my face. It was a transcendental experience. I felt alive. It felt so good. It felt like..........Freedom. Take care, brother.
