I work as a BSA analyst for a firm, put prior to that I operations.. so when things were processed correctly in the firm operation corrected it, but we were only made aware of balancing issues through finance. lol.. it like hey theres a 7 thousand dollar discrepancy .. I tried to find it, and process it... to clear out the differences for finance lol
Interesting to see the routine of one of your days. Well done editing. Glad to hear you enjoy all of what you're doing for the time being. In this video you're looking quite happy - well, you had your Dad coming to visit. Think about: back when I was your age - no cellphones - means no LinkedIn or whatsoever. Everything just connections. And for the Citybikes: looks quite scaring in part of the video. Just take good care of you. Cause looking forward to the next. Stay safe.
I just got accepted to Baruch and officially committed, and majoring in Finance as well and I've been watching your videos for a while. Any advice for me like what I should know about Finance or what classes I should take?
Congrats on getting in! For your first semester Baruch chooses your classes for you, but after that it's up to you to find good classes. My biggest recommendation would be to look all the professors up on ratemyprofessor.com and see who has the best rating
Thank you a lot for sharing valuable insights about the finance intern role. I’m currently a sophomore and this summer I’m going to apply for an internship program. Cant wait to get my first job and meet new ppl in this field🩶🙏🏻
Do you think it's possible for international students to get an internship in New York? I assume if it's hard for Americans to get an internship in New York it's gonna be much harder for international students
Hello Adam, I'm looking to get a job as a financial analyst but I don't have a relevant degree but a diploma in F&B. I have completed data analytics, financial and accouting certifications from coursera. What more or else should I do to get a job??
Thats more than enough to kick start. If anything just start reaching out ! There is no deadline. Finance youd be surprised is always open to anyone willing ❤🎉
Heyy, just came across is this video of yours.... Knowing you're a intern working related to finance is amazing i just wanted to what exactly qualifications are required to work in nyc🥺 talking about myself then i have a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Accounting & Finance) and currently im pursuing Chartered Accountant course from ICAI which is similar to us cpa but i just wanted to confirm if CA degree standalone is a better profile or a additional course is needed like CFA/CPA😢 Please do let me know about these, Thank you
Hi bro, Hope you are doing well , I am currently studying ACCA. Can you please tell me is there any demand of ACCA . Can i find job easily in NYC. If yes then how many experiences is required or any soft skills you refer(like:excel, quickbook,SAP,data analytics )before coming into the job market. Thank
you get a bit of training but you are still expected to know whatever skill it is that you're being hired for (in my case, I had to know quite a bit about excel)
Accounting majors do have a chance but finance is not just accounting oriented. Usually, accounting majors go on to pursue CPA, CMA, ACCA etc and find an internship in audits or so.
this video is 1 year ago but still you should wear a blazer instead of a puffer and if its cold then a long coat just show ppl u area a finance guy. keep it up proud of you
What's so depressing about this? He's working hard and is happy. It seems you're a part or the problem who has nothing better to do in his life. Loser!
Great pleasure to meet you, guy. Exchange cultural differences between US and Brazil in a casual flight was fun. You deserve the best, smart guy!
You put a smile on my face meeting with your dad✨
Finance aside,Perry, you gonna go far in life 'cause positive vibes emanating from you, well, point that way! Blessings.
