    Cracking design mate. I wonder if copper rivets could be used in place of the stitching? Might give a funky look to the wallet.

      Thanks so much, Tommy! Yeah man, I reckon that would look insane! I'd think probably just need to make the wallet a tad higher to account for the additional width of rivets compared to the thread? Gonna have to go try that now 😅

    you can have a quick access card slot behind the flap, diagonal, horizontal, simple or with holes on each side

    Why not stitch all the way across the bottom? Would that ruin it in some way or is all visual?

    Definitely have to give that pattern a try. Is it wide enough for a dollar bill? Not that a lot of people use cash nowadays...

    • @JamesKGraves
      @JamesKGraves  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Dean, must admit I don't carry much cash myself 😅 I believe a dollar bill is just over 6" long (according to Google) and this is about 5.2" so they won't fit in lengthways. The wallet's designed to be as small as possible while holding cards on either side, but you can keep one pocket for folded up bills or just stuff cash in behind your cards; good thing is there's plenty of space for both 😊

    Hey bud. Hope you are well.
    The V1 I made for some family and friends n they still carry it today. I added a button stud to the V1 which everyone liked more.
    I'll have a crack at the V2.2 but super interested in the magnets you used? Where did you get them from and how did you secure them?

    • @JamesKGraves
      @JamesKGraves  2 роки тому

      Hey Steven! Been a while, great to hear from you! Man that's incredible, I'm so glad they're enjoying it! Button stud is a great idea!
      The magnets are just small neodymium 8x3mm ones from Amazon which I fixed with superglue; to be honest they are just a tad too large, or at least I'd need to raise the stitch holes higher to line up with the top of the magnets so the cards don't touch the magnets and sit wonky (if that makes sense...?). Maybe something smaller like a 6mm diameter would work better, but the magnets were kind of an afterthought so I'd have to play around with them a little more to see what works.
      Let me know how you get on with it, always love hearing your input on these designs! Hope everything's going well with you, buddy!

    I think this was such a cool design, but I would have liked to see the wallet a little bit more close-up. When you showed the second version. It was kind of blurry and far away. It’s also been like two years since this video came out so no one probably cares what I’m saying lol!
