Man, this couldn't have come at a better time! I have the Xtava diffuser that I was using on a Conair dryer but the dryer broke. Been thinking about getting the dryer that goes with the diffuser but this review, including a comparison with the Xtava, really helps. Under 20 minute hair styling would make such a difference! Thanks so much for reviewing this with the comparisons - you are the go-to!

Thank you very much for the review! Very helpful. I have needed a new dryer for awhile now and wanted to try a more professional one for the first time. I’m going to go with this Shark based on your points in the review. Your hair looks great! Mine had basically the same curl pattern as yours when I was younger. I wore it similar to your style. It was hard back then to find anyone that knew what to do with curly hair when I was growing up. It’s so nice to see more information and acceptance of curly hair now. Your channel really helps to support and encourage curly hair sisters to wear our curls and keep them healthy. No one gets a curly haired sister more than another curly haired sister, the struggle can be real LOL but also beautiful . Thanks for the channel. Take care.
Watching this before unboxing my delivery. I ordered it from Kohls. Mine is the rose gold. Don’t know the difference. We have a similar curl pattern and it wasn’t until watching you that I learned how to care for my hair (53 years young) Thank you for schooling us ❤

I’ve been way loving my Shark gosh for maybe a year + now. I don’t have crazy long hair so my drying time is fairly short. So that means it only gets used for about 10 min every 5 days or so 😅 Hoping it has a VERY long life ! I got mine on a deal too for around that Costco price, so definitively was worth it to me. Love it and your curls!
I am in the hair chair tomorrow-and can’t wait!
The only thing I don’t like is that it doesn’t have a No Heat setting. Even the low heat setting can get hot on my head. Otherwise I love it.
Great information, thanks for making this. I had previously thought however that the motor was unchanged from the dyson supersonic for consumers to the one for professionals. Is this not the case anymore?

UA-cam sent a yt video from yrs ago of devacurl recommendations by Stephanie Mero, after I caught up w/SM coz lately realized i am having hair loss & suspect it's hair shampoo or conditioners, tho' haven't used devacurl since way back 'bout the same time. Any chance that's avoidable - getting old pro devacurl from SM?
I am so torn because my Dyson cuts out a lot and I kept it clean and always put it in the box and now it has completely gone and I have looked at the reviews for the shark and some reviews say that the shark starts to cut out so I am on the fence about getting one
Hello 😊my hair gets knotty in the back a lot so it makes it a bit frizzy and I have to end up putting it in a little bun. Any advice?
Wondering how high/forceful the lowest setting is. My hair does better with a more gentle speed and even the lowest speed on my current dryer is too strong.
