The problem I have with it is (apart from no checkpoints) the supposed “choose your own adventure” part. That is not my experience. I get the same crap 9/10 times - not once have I ever got Plague, and only a few times Breathe Free and Bullet Hell, for example. Same talents almost every time. Even with the skills I usually get the same stuff. It’s not that it’s not doable - it’s that it is, indeed, highly repetitive and rather boring. I rarely have opportunities to do anything very differently. But the worst problem is not related to the mode itself, for me personally. For some reason the hit detection in there is just horrible, as if whatever native lag I have gets amplified twofold automatically. I’m watching you play in this video and I’ve never seen responsiveness like that. It’s a shame. I might enjoy it a little more otherwise. Good video, by the way. My complaints don’t remove the utility of helpful advice.
Valid points. No mode can appeal to everyone. What I find exciting is definitely gonna bore many others. Applies to anything in life. Thanks for watching too
@@aBL1NDnoob yeah, and I definitely didn’t mean it as a criticism of you. I do sometimes enjoy the mode, and I’m still open to revising my opinion as I learn more/get better at it.
