Same here... But I am going to Vegas in 2 weeks. Honestly though, none of the buffets look particularly appetizing..especially for the prices. But I guess if you are a big eater it's totally worth it..

We were pleasantly surprised on this buffet. Best bang for your buck. We come here often now.
I agree. I did the Golden Nugget Buffet for lunch a couple months ago and found it very good. The deserts were outstanding and the service was as good as it can get. I'll Be Back!

This was actually a pretty good buffet. They had some good options shrimp, steak, several fish options, and. a pretty good carving station. They were generous at the carving station

except for the field chow. It wasn't fit for animals. The MREs were better that the hots in the field.

No, not at all. I have many relatives that did and I commend them for their service and never pass up the opportunity to do so. They are the real heroes! They need to enjoy life like the rest of us do as well. Kudos!

looked good...seems wrong that they didn't really have any BBQ there... when you see BBQ advertised, you expect ribs, BBQ chickens, brisket and stuff...and the side fixings of course.
I realized too late Saturdays aren't barbecue night anymore!

There is a woman reviewer, with a thick slavic accent, who has gone to the buffets you review, yet she blathers on and on, apparently loving the sound of her own voice, and she doesn't eat and review the food. Her review of Orleans buffet and others are horrible. The vicarious epicurean journey is why viewers watch. Many viewers will visit the venues based on your experiences there.

Just roasted beef round ( tuff cut" of ungraded beef, trying to make it look like " prime rib".

Yes, you have to ask where the Bar B Que is. They may have to get it from the cooker. My friend from Galveston owns the Nuggets and other Landry's restaurants. The are really good cooking up a meal. I have never had a bad meal! Bread pudding is the best! Tillman Fertita the owner makes sure the food is quality!

It’s not that serious buddy. You don’t have to ask for the manager all the time and by asking them won’t make bbq just appear. Spend your time doing something more productive

@@AllYouCanVegas I just flew into Vegas yesterday and I'm a buffet freak. Staying here at the Golden Nugget and was so excited to try the buffet after this video but was slightly disappointed lol. I'm from Shreveport, Louisiana which is basically the Vegas of Louisiana and I could have fit this restaurant 3 times into our casino buffets lol . Can't complain much on the food because I was starving and it was good but I just expected so much more I guess. Hoping to find one that really wows me today. The meatballs here were very good and the bread pudding was so good with the whiskey sauce . Might just be all the Golden Nuggets because the one in Lake Charles, Louisiana was small too . Love your videos and hopefully bump into you at one of these buffets during my few day stay lol . You would love the buffet at Horse Shoe Casino and Margaritaville in Shreveport .

I've only been to Vegas once. And we stayed at the Golden Nugget. It was fabulous. I loved being on Fremont street and walking casino to casino. The Golden nugget pool was cool too.
I ate at their buffet for a couple of meals and they were more competitively priced than the other casinos during July 2002.
And it was a fabulous spread. I ate there for a breakfast and a late lunch- early dinner. Had plenty of great tasting and well made dishes. Went away stuffed.
Plus if you get a players card if you are gambling there you can earn free or discount buffets.
The GN even gave out free and or low cost cocktails in some of the gambling areas too. Just needed to top the waitstaff. Fun fun fun!

I got married in Vegas last year and we had our reception at this buffet. Trying to book a reception in that around the 4th of July was a nightmare and this place was totally accommodating and the food was great!

QUESTION everyone ( and thanks so much for your time) When I visit I only stay a few days. Should I visit Golden Nugget and other places downtown? There do seem to be some interesting places to eat and maybe some nostalgia in Golden Nugget and other downtown area. Maybe some meal deals also...I realize not as cheap as in the past. I usually spend time at Bellagio, Wynn and Venetian/ Palazzo. Though my younger friends seem to prefer City Center

I have respect for any buffet that has actual pieces of pie. They have the customary 6 yr old size cake nut full pieces of pie.

One of your better buffet choices, and for a cheap price. Reasonable meats, reasonable desserts. Great meatballs and quality filled ravioli, just wish they had a fantastic lasagna.

Have to say, that was a decent looking buffet. Lots of simple dishes, something for everyone. The price was pretty spot on too, around £20 or so which for dinner is pretty fair, and given its an all you can eat you can certainly get your monies worth. The beef looked under done for me, the turkey looked good, and the mash and veg options looked good too. Even your Pizza looked better than some I have watched you eat. As for that bread pudding, man that looked good, especially with the bourbon sauce on.
So worth the money!
