- Months before the split, “Extra’s” Terri Seymour spoke with Grimes on the set of her new show “Alter Ego.”
Grimes was joined by her colleagues Nick Lachey, Alanis Morissette, and will.i.am.
When asked if she had an alter ego, Grimes quipped, “I’m constantly shifting personalities.”

She has Akathisia which probably the reason she can't sit still and need to find something to do which snacking is one of them. You could also see her leg shaking and head scratching and head and hands moving around.

At this point Grimes's behavior during the interview comes off as arrogant, disrespectful an ultimately performative; as if she is acting like she thinks an edgy, disenfranchised rock star would be like in this circumstance. I wonder if it was her conscious effort to be able to point to after the fact, when the show flops; so she can maintain her "cool girl" label.
If Grimes is so un enthused; she doesn't have to do things like this, even if she tries to say that her new label is making her. Ultimately she is the star and she willingly chose to take part in this. Grimes has made it a point in the past to show that she is in charge and won't be bullied when it comes to her music and career, so to cave to label pressures now if she doesn't want to seems absurd. She has the money and the means to be completely Independent and only do the hings she wants career-wise.

@@friv_0881 Grimes has Akathisia. I doubt it's a conscious choice. She is restless and can't sit still and need to find something to do. It's another reason as a child in school she seems to cause a disturbance in class. She seems rude but she can't control herself. It also probably the cause for many of her anxiety issues.

What a really bad interview. It is awkward in every way. Physically, those chairs placements are terrible. The interviewer being higher than everyone else. Grimes and Will i am not being able to see the other judges. Grimes right in the middle, so unconfortablr to see anyone but will. The voice of the interviewer (i know that she can be sick, but i find it better to explain it at some point to release tension). And the questions are a little bit dumb.
