    Congrats on the silver Rosie! First silver coin I’ve ever seen you dig. I love finding silver coins here in Connecticut. Happy hunting and cheers from Bridgeport!

    Nice hunt Austin, congrats on the silver dime. I went out yesterday for a few hours and pulled a 1918 Mercury dime 👊

    I give up. Twice I tried to watch the video and twice I’ve fallen asleep. 🤦🏻‍♀️
    I did catch you finding the silver dime. Last I remember, you were walking and talking about that wonderful dime… or did I dream it? 🤷🏻‍♀️😆

    The part you thought was a key.. that's the keeper part to the previous find..it slides..so you can fasten keys to a belt loop. Congrats on the silver..

    We've had lots of rain lately here in Illinois. When my wife and I were down in Panama City Beach 2 weeks ago it was beautiful and I had a great time metal detecting the beach for the first time!!! Dude, I see why you love it so much!! The last item you found was a piece of the one before it, the closing latch that you open with your thumb that is usually spring loaded. Like on a dog leash.

      It's an awesome hobby! Good ID on the latch! 👍

    I always dig zinc penny signals too. (68 on Simplex Ultra). I have found an old 1920s art deco brass ring and an old dog license tag that both sounded just like a coin and rang up 68. You never really know!

    I found a 1939 Quarter outside a tot lot about an inch down in the mulch. I feel like it was a modern drop.

    That last item is the closure part to that leash hook thing you found just before it. Would have been a spring below it to keep it closed. That's what it looks like to me anyway.

    1940 would be a mercury dime, you must have read the year wrong. Btw, that piece you found at the end is part of the leash hook you found that was "worse than a penny".

    • @TreasureOutdoors
      @TreasureOutdoors  Місяць тому +1

      You are right, it was a 1949. Good ID on the leash thing!

  • @digginggopher

    The dime is likely a modern drop, I found a (Canadian) silver dime in a totlot once, it was in a coin spill with a 2020 quarter and nickel, some little brat must have just dropped silver while on the swings
    Even ignoring the silver dime you did better than I did yesterday, I spent 45 minutes at the first location and 50 minutes at the second location and only found 7 coins, and the second location was horrible mud that just killed my enthusiasm to keep searching, I had to throw all my equipment in the bathtub when I got home 🏡

  • @nicolasrossi5978

    You said you found a 1940 silver dime and Showed a Roosevelt dime. Not possible, first year of issue for that series was 1946! They (The Rosy's) were silver till 1964 ,and therafter were clad. If the dime was really a1940 it would have to be a Mercury/Liberty dime. Think you need to recheck your date?!

    • @TreasureOutdoors
      @TreasureOutdoors  Місяць тому

      You are right on about that, it ended up being a 1949.

    Hi man.
    What coil is that ? Size ? Type ? Im looking for somthing smaller for my legend beach detecting than my LG 35

    • @TreasureOutdoors
      @TreasureOutdoors  8 днів тому +1

      Hey! This is the LG24 coil. (9.5" x 6") I love it at the parks because it makes the machine much lighter and has great separation. I have not used it much at the beach but it would allow you to swing for longer.
      Can't comment much on the depth at the beach.. but it's a good coil to add to your arsenal.
