What amazes me about your digs is that all your plugs look exactly the same. You flip the small plug over then get one scoop out of the hole and your find is always right there in that scoop. Then you flip the plug back over, pat it down and the hole disappears. How do you do it? Every plug the same. I have experienced all kinds of dirt when I dig, but all your dirt is exactly the same. Never anything different, except for the Old Millwallkie can. That took some work. It just amazes me.

Great Dig!! As always, thanks for your commentary and tips! Nice Ring! I'm looking to upgrade from My Nokta Simplex + possibly to the Legend, the Deus 2 or the Manticore. I'm not sure which to go for. I was able to do my first beach hunt in Panama City Beach Florida last week and absolutely loved it! I went 4 days straight and can't wait to get back to the beach! Thanks again! Keep on digging!👍

Austin, Hear that clipping in the speaker there is a setting that will stop that and it cleans up the tone and all. I found it last night swinging over a nickel It really bashes coins now. I think it is one of the 2 at the right with the sign wave on it...
Is that threshold? I need to do this too. I thought it was a sign of high tones with iron.
@@bobulele Hey Bob, Yep The last setting on that row I set mine at 6 to 9 . Way I found out is I put a coin on the floor waved it across it ran the volume up and down the speaker quit bottoming out lower I went. and cleaned up the tone. Threshold is the one before it. The last one is the culprit.

Not sure if I’ll be doing the hunt or not. I’ve already dismantled my mother’s yard since I started metal detecting in 2018-2019. Dug up her tin that she buried her canary in. 🤦🏻♀️ So much more to wave that detector over before the all little bushes regain their leaves, so maybe I may go out there. See you in the next one.

Weird thing happened to me with the legend….a solid 34 was a .925 with stones in the sidelines of a soccer field @ about 6 inches deep last fall. I was running 15khz. I thought it would have ring up higher than that.
Does it read higher out of the hole? I've been surprised a few times with low ID silver if it's a small ring or link bracelet. Just never know what's going to come out next!
@@TreasureOutdoorsIt was a honker chunk, unfortunately I didnt check out of the hole, but i can give it an air test and see where its at and get back to you. Im still having issues getting you some pics of my finds. You got me started in this metal detecting rabbit hole about 3 yrs ago. I started with a vanquish and been using the legend for about 1.5 yrs now. Its an addiction, the only thing that slows me down is winter😢😂
That's nuts I found that same tungsten ring a few weeks ago. Just got my Manticore and my second target was that tungsten ring. They are about $200 on Amazon but sell around $50 on eBay. Good job!
Nice hunt Austin! Was curious, what camera do you run on the chest mount or is it a phone? I think I'll switch over from the helmet action camera to a chest one as I've had a few people on my channel say it makes them dizzy 😅 Looking to test a wide angle lens on the chest mount too as it's just not wide enough on it's own.
I just went detecting in my backyard with my grandson’s simplex ultra with the sx 24 coil. I found 2 cool buttons and the back of a pocket watch. I only spent about 15 minutes detecting. I put the simplex in beach mode because it cancels out iron. I totally missed these signals with my equinox 800 and manticore because I was always dealing with all of the other signals and missed these

Nice. Do you like the Legend more than the Deus 2 master?
They are both good, Legend is more straight forward whereas the WS6 master is a little quirky. I bet it comes a bit down to personal preference.
Could i ask whats your favorite detector/ detectors you enjoy using the most?
Probably the ones you see used most, there are many good ones out there. :) Sometimes it's just a preference thing.

Destiny should be walking around with the ORX, seems you never really find anything good with the legend and every time you pull the ORX you land on better finds. it would be nice to see both of you in the same park with two different detectors, and comparing your finds at the end.
