This song has Clan of Xymox written all over it. This band is like a perfect mix of early The Cure, The Chameleons, Sisters of Mercy and Xymox.
I can hear Clan of Xymox in a lot of their material, honestly. Just when you think they're going full dark they throw a curve ball with some The Cure/Psychedelic Furs nuance.

You cant deny those 2 guys make huge impression on scene, their image and style is very well designed. Music makes nostalgia a like a water that washes your face, its amazing and a real deal for any type of stoners because its the pure form of Neo-Psychedelic wave of rock music.

Мне 45. Я Cure перестал слушать после Wild Mood Swings и DM после Exciter. Т.к. они стали писать абы что. И по большому счету ничего из 00-х и 10-х не вошло в мою фонотеку. Т.к. все какое-то непонятно что... Попросту - шлак. Ну там кое какие проблески конечно есть . Но это именно проблески. Отдельные треки . Ну туда сюда еще Retro Wave ( SynthWave). А тут у парней как бы концепт. Cure как -то быстро соскочили с этого саунда... Ушли в какую-то аморфную... полуакустку... Скучно и вяло. А тут у парней и энергетика...Хорошая группа. И не надо ее в массы. Массы пусть слушают ... Imagine Dragons ( и пр.шнягу )))

I like their commitment to a sound and doing it WELL. Somehow even the synth drums work for me and they did NOT in the 80s. Love these guys.

This is epic!! We need a professionally directed Drab Majesty live concert movie! I imagine something like the "Rammstein: Paris" live show but in a darkwave style with an epic orchestrated light show and several cameras filming from every angle, a unique stage setup and of course a big venue because you cant do it in small clubs but also not in open air stadiums as the sound in stadiums is not that great. More something like Madison Square Garden etc.. I would pay 10000 to see something like this. Drab Majesty would be a perfect band for this kind of elaborately staged shows. But unfortunately the bands audience is yet too small. Not many bands on this planet have the opportunity to do this.
