Thank you so much for ds brief knowledge…I olways follow ur lectures rather thn others in Unacademy…..you r too good for making everything so simple.thanx again
Mam here depolarisation occurs due to blockage of pottasium channel thus prevent the efflux of pottasium .(cells are bag of pottasium)-thus increase of pottasium intercellular ly …..bt mam saying its reversly…..Can u clarify that
As per KD Tripathi, Beta cell membrane depolarizes and opens up the Ca2+ channels only when K+ channels gets blocked by ATP and outward flow of K+ restricts. this inhibition of K+ outflow rises the intracellular K+ ions and this increased K+ inside depolarizes the membrane. But you are saying its fall in intracellular K+ concentration that depolarizes the beta cell membrane. All other references are supporting the statement of KD Tripathi book. please review.
Plz mam answer Video time 30:10 second If Sulphonylurea drug given then they increase Ca+ ion concentration in cell then my thinking is leads to Increased blood pressure. Plz clear my dought.
Thanks mam... very easy method of teaching
