Letter in Viz comic: The other day I was woken by a rattle at my door. Imagine my surprise when I opened it to find my son standing there - Simon Rattle, the conductor of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. Mrs. Rattle, Birmingham. Well, I thought it was funny...
how often has Sir Simon done film scores, not that often, this is a stunning soundtrack, and orchestras have to move on, what do you want the Philharmoniker to do just play Brahms for the rest of its life, there is a reason why this orchestra and this conductor are the best, they challenge themselves, this is hardly a disney soundtrack.
the most underrated music of all time
They are, no doubt, the best orchestra in the world.
And to top it off, they have one brilliant conductor!
The Berlin Philharmoniker always has that brilliant sound....well done.
Fantastic musics !
I watched the film and the music was good match to the film. Bravo BPO & Rattle~~!

OK, it's one of the second best. Like Mahler's seventh symphony. That's still pretty good.

for me London Symphony Orchrstra is the best orchestra in the world mate.......
i feel sorry for you.
I dunno, the music sounds pretty dull and lifeless to me. I suppose it's played well, but it's a pretty normal sounding score.
