Agreed, I’ve only really seen Ojima just as some “caretaker” for Hiroaki. There’s other times where he isn’t with him but it’s unremarkable enough for me to forget. Hopefully this isn’t just his big moment to die in a double murder At the same time I could also see Hiroaki and Okazaki both being victims but like, Ojima and Watari make more sense, since then both their friends kinda have to depend on people who are not so… happy about them.
This was 100% necessary. I’m glad Ojima finally confronted Hiroaki about his apathetic/self-centered behavior towards others. I’d like Hiroaki to be able to be calm and be open (or at least nice) towards the cast. He’s shown that side of himself to Tsuno and Ojima before so it’s not like he’s incapable of being good. He needs to change the negative attention he gets to a more positive tone! Also he needs to start apologizing for what he says, if he makes the effort to change his behavior in the first place. Orrrr he’ll die before he gets the chance to make up for what he’s done, that’ll be sad. Side note: I love this cast so much wouldn’t it be great if they just didn’t die?? They should live, they all have lives worth pursuing
To be honest, what really piqued my interest this episode was Ojima pointing out that Hiroaki only knows how to gain attention by being a brat/lashing out at people. I haven't got the intelligence to break down his character, but we do know that Hiroaki grew up with little to no attention from his parents...he's fairly apathetic about it when he tells Yanagi about it, but I really do wonder how much his love for attention (whether it be positive or negative) revolves around his childhood experiences. Also, as a sidenote, I really don't think this conversation is going to be the "kick up Hiroaki's backside" that everyone seems to think it's going to be. As close as they are, and as much as Hiroaki seems to genuinely like Ojima's friendship, I really can't see him having this 180 personality switch from just this single, heated conversation alone. Ojima does want the best for him, but considering how volatile this argument was/is...definitely can't see their friendship going anywhere positive soon.
I... just don't know... I just can't with this voice acting. Every Single of Hiroaki's Lines...! Every single episode with Hiroaki I think this. This is the best voice acting I've ever heard. Hands down and don't put them back up. The emotion, the depth, the power in how lines are delivered... It's hard to focus on the episode because this has my whole attention. "Because I FUCKING HATE *THEM!!!"* The way the voice goes up at "them", and the shrillness.. It's perfect. I wish I knew some technical terms so I could describe every exact detail of what I love about this. PancakeKING, you dropped this 👑!!! Thank you for this breathtaking performance as Hiroaki Nakamigawa! Okay, lmfao now into what happened...another jaw-dropping episode. This has been a long time coming, I'm glad Hiroaki doesn't get special treatment from Ojima. Though he was kinda harsh... What he said was generally true and needed to be said. "Because you're a _brat,_ and an _asshole,_ and that's the only way you know how to get attention!" OOOF. Oooooof.... Yeah... This hurts because... Hiroaki is not a bad person...he obviously doesn't hate people, especially when he warms up to them. He even stopped harking at Sasaki when he got to know her through her journal. He can be so, so kind. So compassionate, empathetic. So helpful. But he's also selfish, primarily looking out for himself. Which is not that bad a thing to be, generally... Except when you tear into people at the slightest perceived attack from them, or even for no reason. And Hiroaki knows that this behaviour is shitty. Maybe this fight could be the catalyst for a true change in him? I hope so.
@@Blake0022 I know everyone is gushing over the voice acting of Hiroaki here but people are also seriously sleeping on how good the portrayal of Ojima here is as well, very well delivered as you can feel when Ojima snaps he really snaps
@@LanieMaeYEAH! You're so right! Ojima's VA is fantastic. His voice is so strong at times it almost seems immovable. I especially love that *"GOD!* You make everything about Hiroaki Nakamigawa!" Oogh, the sheer anger here, almost short of fury. He was pissed as _hell._ Such a good delivery. Hiroaki can jump between 0 and 100 and back in seconds. But when Ojima snaps he _snaps._ , as you said. Love him sm..
And this was also due too. Not that he’s gonna listen but if there’s anyone that Hiroaki will at least make him think about these things, it’s Ojima. And they both have fair points. But yea, if anyone’s gonna get him to even consider thinking about his actions, it’s Ojima for sure.
This episode was so good and the voice acting was absolutely phenomenal. Even though these two had a really tough moment I definitely don’t think this is the end of their relationship. It was an argument that was bound to happen. Especially with their conflicting personalities of Ojima being much more altruistic and Hiroaki being more aggressive. And how they both can get very angry, Ojima staring to call Hiroaki out for his behaviours lead to it spiralling into a big fight. Honestly I feel that it’s better they had this conflict rather than not, as Ojima often tries to defend Hiroaki saying that he’s not always like that. But this fight and how attached Hiroaki is to Ojima this will probably affect him deeply. And Ojima is the type to apologise when he gets mad so I feel like they could make up.
There's more to the characters and their relationship than just shipping can we stop characterizing them solely according to the fact that they're gay? Like, I ship Hirojima too but I feel like this particular episode isn't really about shipping

It was cool to see Ojima stand up to Hiroaki. Especially after learning what Wada was going through

Next week it's either going to get colder or it's really going to get colder with a new body discovery...
Alright it's either hiroaki ojima tsuno or okazaki being involved in the next case thats just my guess doe
My heart is breaking I’m so done 💔
