Most of what I plant in May I purchase at a local nursery. However, there are some seeds that I buy online from "Desde Mi Huerto" like you see in this video and their website is: www.desdemihuerto.com/en. They sell seeds for many tropical vegetables that I cannot find here. Desde Mi Huerto is located in Isabela, Puerto Rico.
Good information on starting seeds. I remember that your recao seeds did really well last summer.
Yes, but they all died when the cold weather arrived. Time to start fresh again. What are you planting this year?
I tried controlled growing Recao. Couldn’t get anything to grow. I reused the soil and 3 plants popped up. One with my strawberries,another in a separate pot and then another in a crack in my patio. Go figure 😄

Hello. What have you planted in Texas?
I planted a gandule plant next to a small palm tree. It made the palm tree grow very fast. Why? Gandule roots create nitrogen. People who grow corn also use such related methods using plants that create nitrogen. Avoiding to use lots of fertizers and spending less money. The gandule plants do not last long. From a couple of years to almost 5. I had a neighbor whose gandule trees looked like orange trees. Huge. They lasted like 5 years. I got my seeds from him. The seed pods contain 6 to 7 seeds or gandules.
Unfortunately, here we have to replant most vegetable plants in late Spring because they die in the Fall.
I got seeds of gandules from friends in Rincon. I had them growing in Florida 9/10 zone for about 4 years.
What about peageon seed which have you planted ? Do you have a second video after seedling the seeds ?
I do not. Last year I tested three plants and they grew fine but did not record it. This year I will record as they grow and should have pigeon peas by summer.
Where did you purchase those seeds?
