In that respect, Post Scriptum is maybe less in graphics, but so much better in historical accuracy. It's sinds the first COD to this one, always over the top.
I live next door to the Hürtgen Forest. Spent much time in these woods growing up and I have to say the game looks nothing like the real forrest. It's much lighter there and the rocks are slate (Schiefer). Seeing the title, I thought it would look more like home...
The reason they change it because it is censored in america. It funny because they censored nazi tag as well. They are perfectly fine with heavy amount of gore

If the Tommy's would have had such superheroes, their losses would be under 1000 fallen in the whole war. :D A platoon taking out a whole battalion. Still waiting for a realistic tactic shooter with good graphics...

A colonal can give orders to whomever he/she chooses to, and when your platoon or company is shot to shit, as in the d day landing and all you have is a squad , that's what you have, and at the end of mission 6, maybe 7, lt Turner is informed the other men are taking hill 493 and a large group of soldiers are present
unrealistic , because both sides rarely actually saw each other so close, also i lived in the Eifel woods only 9 km further east near Bad Muenstereifel as a kid in the 60`s, the forest doesnt look anything like this..BTW, walking the dog in the forest sometimes i`d stumble upon an old rusty German helmet
look man, you play ok, but your game fundamentals are crap, when the term " approach by stealth?"..means SILENT, you are the only person in the area, your ammo is insufficient, so you dont charge the enemy by yourself!!, you sneek up on them, and fortuneatly for you, you are not in veteran mode, if you were, you wouldnt got past the dog
Ikr, I was sat here cringing at this game play, he didn't listen to any of the commands and didn't pay any attention to the onscreen commands like reloading ammo and med supplies

The only thing I love about this game is that it looks beautiful and the ai is great.
There's a great hidden gem of a movie with Ron Eldard called "When Trumpets Fade" about the Battle of the Hurtgen Forest. Very well made and shot.

Nah, dude. It is wrong. Random german infantry never used Russian SA rifles or SMGs. It's just a tiny mistakr in an otherwise great campaign.
