  • Noisy air conditioning or noisy heat pump this illuminates that start up noise.
Your generator is too small to run your heat pump because of the inrush current or your solar system. Inverter is too small. .
This illuminates a problem to get rid of the inrush current so you can use a cheaper, smaller generator or solar inverter to run your heat pump .

Very interesting. However, would be nice to know each model number. I'm looking for my second micro air easy start and it's rather confusing on their website. The breeze 364 looks like The Bluetooth is not built in You have to attach it in some form or fashion. Their website has one video which is informative. But, there's no delineation on the Bluetooth nor is the 364 the latest and greatest and why isn't Bluetooth built in. I wish they had a better person running their website.

Any benefit to installing these on house AC's, where LRA is not an issue?

I would only install them if you had a generator that you had to use or a solar inverter.
On paper, they sound really good .
But you gotta remember it’s just another park that could malfunction and fail and actually caused problems .
Just like the three phase controller for house units
I’ve seen a half a dozen of those fail now, and actually caused damage to the units only allow single phase on a three phase system or only two phase .
That’s exactly what they were meant to prevent .
And a diagnosis time for somebody to go out there and diagnose when they have a problem and the technician is not familiar with them or even if the technician is familiar with them, but not their failure
Where I am located labor rate can be anywhere from $250-$350 minimum service call is usually $300-$500.
The consumer ends up paying more to diagnose a problem caused by the device than the device cost or any energy savings over the entire lifetime is eaten up by one service call that is caused by the item.,
But 99% of all my installations of heat pumps are all soft start because they’re all inverters.
Like FUJITSU or LG or Samsung or Daikin.
So there’s absolutely no use for such a device
Even on a generator or a solar system.

I had one installed on a $15,000 BTU echo Cool. I am using a 1900 watt continuous inverter generator. It started the AC and didn't even as much as stumble. This would totally not be possible without the soft start so yes it does have its uses and it does work@@coldfinger459sub0

@@coldfinger459sub0 These have been failing a lot lately as short as 24 hours after installation.
