I would have leased a fully loaded 2014 Malibu 2LZ Turbo if it had an optional adaptive radar cruise control system. I've had it one of my other cars from 2012-2014, and again from 2014 to the present. After getting used to it, it is definitely one of my favorite features. It's perfect for back roads and long drives anywhere. Driving over 20k+ miles a year, this is one feature I will always want in a car from now on.
So I went with a fully loaded 2014 Buick Regal T Premium II in FWD. I'm really glad I leased this car. I absolutely love it!! I wasn't too fond of the manual mode button on top of the Malibu shifter. At least some companies put it on the left side of the shifter right around where your thumb rests. I use manual mode all the time, so I definitely prefer shifting it up and down in a separate gate like in the Regal. I also like that the gate is towards the driver side and not on the right side like so many other cars. I'm really considering buying it in about a year when my lease is up. My lease ended on my 2012 Genesis, and I still have a mint condition 1999 Buick Park Avenue with extremely low mileage on it that I used as a car to keep some of the mileage off my Genesis before I traded it in, and I'm doing the same with the Regal. I have an 18k mile a year lease, but I'd definitely go over it without driving my other car. The Genesis was pretty nice, but I hated the 8 speed transmission, and both of my Buick's ride better than the Genesis did. I must say, the Regal T with the 259 HP / 295 LB-FT 2.0L Turbo in FWD is pretty quick. I was impressed when I first drove it. When I had the stock tires it would take off at WOT without sliding, and then at about 3500 rpm the wheels would break loose when the turbo spooled up lol. I have since switched to wider 255/45ZR18 Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires all around since I live in Georgia. It will only chirp once in a while at WOT at 3500 rpm when it's cool outside. Other than that, it just goes and I can definitely feel a huge difference. It handles and stops so much better too. I think it even rides better to be honest with you. That could be in my head though? These tires are so worth it if you live in warmer climates. We do get a light winter down here, so I still have the stock 18" wheels and all season tires it came with of course. Also because it's a lease. I'll put them on in about a month and take them off again in early March. Nice review by the way. Thanks for the video.

Montrelle Grant, paying an extra $10-15k just so you can be petty about pushing a button is just stupid. Does your more expensive BMW have remote start, Onstar assist, Wifi, heated memory seating, or in-dash Nav? Can you remotely unlock the doors via your Cell Phone? Can you remotely start your car and heat up/cool down the interior via your cell phone? Can you look up an address on your phone and send it to the in-dash navigation system? Or is Push Button start the ONLY thing your BMW has that's worth mentioning?
Oh, and most importantly, do the turn signals on your BMW work?...or are you like most BMW owners and never use them? As least Chevy, Ford, Toyota, Dodge, and even Fiat owners know what a turn-signal is for.

This is the forgotten midsize car. You almost never see these on the road, at least where I'm at.

Why would GM engineer this car with two car batteries and have a auto stop and start engine feature? Two features to fail in the cold winter seasons, over engineered GM product.

2015 ltz no push button ?? That's sad... My 2006 BMW has push button. Chevy need to step up their game

Can you start your car with an app? Do you have standard NAV, departure lane sensors, parking sensors, power seats, heated seats, heated steering wheel and mirrors, adaptive cruise control,STANDARD infotainment system GPS location when stolen, automated DIAGNOSIS reports every month in your mail? You keep your pretentious 2006 lemon you call a car...pull your MAF sensor and be stranded already i will never own a BMW ever again lol!!!

Unfortunately, the 2014-2015 Malibu 2LZ does not have adaptive cruise control like it says in your comment... It's not even available as an option. I would have leased one back in 2014 if it did because that has been one of my favorite features since I first used it in my previous car in 2012. Because of that and a few other minor things, I ended up leasing a 2014 Regal T Premium II FWD which I probably wouldn't have even thought of had the Malibu had the features I like in the Regal. The Regal T does have push button start and adaptive cruise control, among many other great features. As far as starting my car with an app, I couldn't care less about that. That's just me though. I'm sure my car has the same feature, but I choose to start it via my remote starter like I do almost every morning. For the money, you still get a lot of car with good technology with the Malibu LTZ 2.0T. It's definitely a very nice car, but I'm so glad I decided to take a look at the Regal down the road from the Chevy dealer after living with this amazing car every day over the last two years. I love everything about my Regal! I posted a comment about it above.
