Today on Amplified, Doug, Dave and Wishbone demolish the shop. Doug has plans to open up the space, and add a small metal fabrication area to the shop. This is part one of the shop remodel. Be sure to come back to see part two!
I've been an interior designer for 12 years and your place has lots of potential.... Bulllll shiiit!! Hahaha. Keep'em coming. Best part was sawing thru the bills!!!
***** I have a tip for you on the wire shelves. My house is loaded with them. Adjusting the shelves can be a pain. What I do is connect 4 ratchet straps from the top shelf down to the one I need to adjust. Then ratchet away. The shelves lift off the cone wedges and can be relocated easily. I moved some this last weekend by myself and didn't even unload the shelves. I'm going to try putting some lube inside the metal hole so the wedges don't get stuck so to speak.

The shop is looking dope so far! I saw you had your computer and office setup at the back and what I was thinking since you want to keep everything open you should enclose your office with glass doors and windows so it's separate from your shop but still open.

Doug the most fun is destruction then the unfun part is just putting it all back together but then the masterpiece will blow everyone away because your visions are beyond supreme

Do you give advice? Im building a 88 convertible camaro and my set up is old but dangerous! Two type r 1224d and a alpine mrv 1507 v12, i wont to frame with wood and fiber glass a bad ass box... any suggestions or ideas that can help?

hey doug, i know you've mentioned it before, but my stoner ass forgot... how big of a tank u got in the mule? seems like everytime u raise the front, the compressors come on before the back gets raised..... guess u must take care of your air tank and keep it drained when not in use unlike most everyone else, ay?

F.e. now I know it's fairly easy to throw a tablet in my Volvo V70 (same dash as S60) if I wanted to, as long as it isn't even a hair higher than an iPad!

Where does your music come from?
Love watching you guys but that racking gives me nightmares, when my son was about 3 years old we had a very very similar living room furniture like that a tv unit stereo unit and that, my son run across the room when being dried with a towel and he was holding the towl and he tripped with his foot and his face smashed into the unit there was blood everywhere freaked us out big-time. Spent the night in hospital they put gores up his nose lots of blood come out the next day then he was fine. You cant tell at all hes 15 now, we really thought it would have made his nose different but not at all, hes modelling now in the uk.

If you watch all the episodes from the beginning you'll see that Doug didn't really have the vision of continuing to run the car audio shop. Instead he wanted to continue making iPad kits for cars and work on his own projects. The other guys still come around from time to time in the episodes. Wishbone does most of the camera-man work.

So basically the shop used to look nice until you and your boys got hopped up on meth and started tearing down walls. Also explains the weight gain that Rafa has been experiencing. Must have got clean. 😂
I really like you Doug. But dude, since you've basically taken the show, got rid of everyone else, and started doing what appears to be "I am the star, it's all about me, me, me" shows, this project has gotten real boring to me. You're funny, but the shows are short as fuck, and most of them are of projects that should be two videos at the most, but instead, you make them 8 videos long. I guess that's so you can get paid more money by doing less work. At any rate, I have to say it. You fucked up the whole show, and went from exciting, to self centered. Yeah, I laugh at some of the shit you say, and do. But deep down I'm thinking "damn, I miss Jordan, Rafa, Cody, etc". There was much more going on to interest me, and the videos were always at least 20 minutes long. Plus, the chemistry between you and everyone else in the shop was fantastic. But seriously, it's getting to the point where I want to just stop watching 20 parts to one project, and start watching the first, and last video so I can see the outcome without all the drawn out, short videos in between.
***** Yeah, I know. I can't help that I miss the show the way it was. I still watch. I just don't watch as often now, and THAT is why I'm upset. I don't hate ya, I just want MORE damnit! LoL.
