I really appreciate how you explained the challenges of keeping certain fish, like mollies or piranhas, especially for beginners. It's so important to have this knowledge upfront-thank you!
I had no idea some of these fish could be so hard to care for. Thanks for sharing your tips! I’ll definitely think twice before adding any of these to my tank!
I like unusual fish types, but that Flowerhorn fish creeps me out. This is a great list and so good that you make it clear and quick. Great video and info here 👍👍
Thanks for sharing these detailed insights on different fish species and their specific care needs! It’s great to know which fish may be challenging, especially for those of us with smaller tanks.
Thanks for sharing this list of aquarium fish to avoid! Your insights are really helpful for anyone setting up a tank and wanting to avoid potential challenges. It's great to learn from your experiences to make better choices. Keep up the awesome content!
Is an insightful video that highlights some of the most challenging and problematic fish to maintain in a home aquarium. It’s a must-watch for any aquarist looking to avoid common pitfalls and ensure a harmonious tank environment. 🐠💡
Flowerhorns, Arowanas [especially the Gold and Red Asians] and fancy goldfish [usually Orandas, Ryukins and Ranchus] are quite popular here. They're usually associated with Feng Shui, hence why they're so popular with the older Chinese population. Most of these are actually remarkably hardy. People here can neglect the tank for a year and they're still kicking
This video was super informative! I learned a lot about fish care and compatibility. Your insights on species like the Gulper Catfish were eye-opening. Thanks for sharing!
I own 10 Piranhas, And I agree with you.. for most of part they're basically "Boring" "Calm swimming" fish that rarely moves from the corner.. But, my favorite parts is to see when they're tearing half chicken for their foods.. I would say Piranhas are basically more like a "Attraction Pet" rather than "Decorative Pet" that usually Aquarium sought
Interesting video! Great insights on which fish to avoid in aquariums and why. Definitely helpful for anyone planning a tank setup. Thanks for sharing your experience
Even the least popular aquarium fish can have unique qualities that make them special. For example, some may be quirky or have interesting behaviors that can add character to your tank. Every fish contributes to the diversity of the aquatic world!
3:56 I have a golden Chinese algae eater in one of my turtle tanks, and there is not a speck of algae in that tank, including on my turtle's shell. He has his own cave and eats algae wafers and leftover turtle food.
They shouldn’t be a problem with turtles as long as the turtles don’t try to eat them. It’s with fish that you’ll run into issues as they are temperamental and will suck slime coats off fish. Some Large Plecos will suck slime coats off too
They are the second largest livebearer and they breed as much as guppies. I’d rather have guppies or endlers. Unless it’s saltwater than mollies are cool for frag tank algae control
@@AquariumStoreDepot that's crazy but yeah that does make sense because like you said the guppies are small but because the molly are big you need at least a 75
@@AquariumStoreDepotmy friend keeps one with guppies and mollies and its nice because it doesn’t breed with them so he doesn’t have to deal with babies
