    General Kroesen began his career in WWII as an enlisted soldier, and has the unique distinction being wounded in WWII, Korea, Vietnam, and in the Cold War during a terrorists attack in Germany in 1981.

    A great award for a great leader. I remember this man when I was in Europe with the 8th Infantry Division and he was the commander of all forces in Europe. It's terrific he is still around.
