Logan I just found your channel a few days ago. I’ve been binge watching your channel since. You got some great content, thank you for what you do, keep up the great work my friend
Great series, I especially like that you did back up runs and multiple resets giving us a much better feel of how a tire performed and why and it showed if a result was repeatable. This is the gold standard of tire shootouts!
On the last descent it was almost like the grabber had more forward traction/braking so caused the rear to get light. The Trencher had the traction to stick but enough slip to keep the rear down.
You should definitely give the injora pin tires a test! My local rock runs them absolutely impressive and I definitely like it!!! I would love to see a head to head comparison, price for the injora is absolutely astonishing!
I agree with your thoughts on these tires. Where we drive there are alot of tight v notches where the insert fit within the tire sidewalls and sidewall tread really makes the difference so those grabbers are no good for that.
Very interesting test. Though i only drive 1/18 scale crawlers, your videos show how bigger, but similar type of tires do the job. As i like your driving style, i'd be curious to see how you'd drive a small scale crawler. Maybe one day, you''ll show us that.😉
Both tires performed well but overall, I feel the Trenchers were more consistent throughout the test. However, the Grabbers were close behind and in a few areas clearly dominated over the Trenchers. One thing you didn't touch on is the ability to tune the Grabbers by removing pins, a huge advantage over the Trenchers (which dont offer a lot of tuning). When it comes to running a scale tire, I'm still a big fan of the Super Swamper but all my high end builds have pins 👍
What’s up Logan, I’d like to buy a couple sets of your cut ‘n shuts but I don’t have any social media to know when you do releases. Any way I can get in touch with you to make a purchase? Thank you
I didn't catch the temps you were running in. Isn't predator meant for cooler temps? I'd be curious to see what G2 does. Also, if you did better with more side lug, why don't pin tires have more of them? I just watched a vid from Dlux where they ground off the side wall for better notch climbing performance I thought. Great comparo!
Just goes to show that forward bite isn't everything. Being able to slip a little (and more importantly predictably slip) is huge. Both solid options but glad you went Trenchers due to legality is more comp rule sets than pin tires. Nicely done bro!
Tough comparison, but good call in the end. The grabbers do very well when they were in their “happy place” but the trenchers did good to very well on more or a variety of challenges. Man what and amazing place to crawl, wish Victoria BC had stone like that.
I seen that coming diversity of the tire you know a lot of people don't realize a good tire is positionable you can reposition the truck on something super Steep and gnarly and correct your mistake you know I think that makes a damn good Tire
I'm thinking you hit it on the nose. I was thinking the same thing that the pins were great overall but their biggest win was all smooth rock vertical climbs.
Pretty good one! Your probably gonna get little more life outta trencher to. If the grabber pins weren't so straight across and instead and miss matched instead probably do a lot better sidehill

the best tire comparison videos out there. Thank you for making such good reviews and thanks SL3D for being able to make these true tire comparisons.
Thanks!

I think you read my mind...I was just looking for a series like this as i learn more about comp trucks!
I love your channel! You take up a space in the market that no other UA-camr occupies. Quality content from day Juan 😎
I don't know that much about crawlers. I've learned so much from watching your channel !!!!

Nice 👍🏻 work and thanks for the time into this tire review
I enjoy these types of comparisons. Glad you decided to do bracket comparison of tires also.
Much work on your part for knowledge benefit for us . Thank You, Logan
Tire shootout doing a great job. Can't wait till the end see who's on top. My bit the tusk
Awesome video. Keeping a close eye on this series. Thank you.
Almost seems like Grabbers in the front for forward grip and Trenchers for side slip in the back would be a good combination
A popular choice in Sporty, MOA and even minis!
Heeeeck yeah!! The trencher is my tire!! Haha this was a fun one, great video. Dude I’m loving the comparison series!!
Lets go!!!! It would be cool to see injora vs power hobby pins.
Great video as usual, I like the fair comparison in the honest review.
Those Pins are pretty Sick I have those and they do some sick magical lines! I also have the Tusk and Megalithics.
Awesome footage👍🏾

Nice work!
I’ve been waiting for this
Will you have louise rc tyres? Champs? Great series 😊😊
The sl3d inserts are really impressive.

Thank you for the video.
A awesome Vs and a very usefull info my Friend 💪🏻🏆👍🏻
this is going to be a good one!

I agree with your decision

Injora pins are very good!
well done
This should be a good comparison. My bet is on the trenchers.

Dude, about time!

My experience with the Trenchers when they are slipping is to slow the wheels to a crawl and they will hook and just drive .

Nice Video🎉👌🏼 thanks for that😊
LG Manuel
what inserts are you running in the grabbers?
He said the standard SL3D 109mm insert, same insert in both sets of tires
I'm thinking you hit it on the nose. I was thinking the same thing that the pins were great overall but their biggest win was all smooth rock vertical climbs.

Still can't believe Grabber crapped out on the V-Crack test !!
Pin will win all day
👍🏼
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I would like to see pitbull braven burzurker zrs proline crawler
I run both of these tires and on our rocks the grabbers win easily.
I'm a trencher fan but pins and trenchers are different animals
Great video
