This was a dumb move on behalf of the city. They just made a wider spread of crime

Homes are not the problem. People are.

Good. Maybe it is not wise to stack people who don't work in one place. Sadly, they will only bring their dysfunction with them.

I been saying this for years! Quit giving them free handouts and the means to live their shitty lives in large groups. Disperse them out of the public eye. Those that want to join the public and be contributing members of society are more than welcome to and the rest can kick rocks. 🤘🏻

Let's be honest... the Michigan ave demo is for the hopeful downtown airport tourist appeal.

Yes, Let’s spread dysfunction through out the city.
Crime, coming to a neighborhood near you.
And get ready for more homeless, as there is a shortage of affordable housing everywhere.

There goes the neighborhood. And school quality. HUD is not your friend.

It helps single mothers not low income people. Mainly it victimizes once again descendants of Americas slavery. The people who were disconnected from their original culture don’t have a familiar home again all in the good of capitalism. Just as much crime goes on at native reservations. You call them projects but there were generations of families raised there. I grew up in orange grove and the bottoms. I left in 1991 for the military. Now when I return it’s like the entire past has been erased. I dont know where anyone is, all of the neighborhood food and culture is gone. It wasn’t just crime. Stop representing the neighborhood as just crime. It’s total disrespect. In the past I used to return home and go to the old neighborhood and run into 10 or 15 people and see people who were toddlers when I left grown up. Now I’m just as a slave fresh off a slave ship. I don’t even claim Mobile anymore I claim Virginia Beach. Mobile is a strange place to me now and it feels strange. Michael Pierce should be ashamed of himself. A man who is from the bottoms.

It's simple mobile has to grow let's be honest these housing projects gave mobile a bad look , they were in prime real estate and being slummed out to the point nobody would even consider going thru and that's not a good thing at all

Why not just build more projects in those areas that we’re gonna be designed, build them like the hurricane proof buildings they put on the beach .you have the land apparently mobile .instead your town will be like Montgomery before long

Can y'all build some apartments that houses 3 families to a unit side where they learn how to drive and teach each other how to drive and watch and help each other.
