- Welcome to our review of available accessories for the BMW K1600Bagger. In September of 2020, I sold my Harley and bought this 2019 Bagger and OMG, best decision I've made when it comes to buying motorcycles.
The first accessory had to be the backrest so my son, Bubba J, could ride with me. While on the pricey side of accessories, the Wunderlich backrest looks awesome on the bike. Since I was putting the backrest on, might as well put the cargo rack on too. It looks awesome.

The second item was a taller windshield. The OEM windshield did not block the wind sufficiently. We bought the 19: tinted windshield by 7 Jurrock and love it. You do not have to raise it all the way to avoid the wind from hitting you in the face.

With back injuries, the OEM bar risers were just too short causing me to have to stretch out too far. Bought the Illium Bar Risers and what a difference.

We finished the look of the bike with the Nelson Rigg Weekender Tail Bag. Great luggage and stands up to the elements.

I’m a papaw so bubba J melted my heart and knowing he gets to ride on that awesome motorcycle with someone he loves and trusts. Ain’t nothing more important than a love like that.

That is too cool. Josh can’t get enough of our bike. He writes the days we ride on his calendar. This has got to be the best smoothest bike I have ever owned.

Thanks for the video. I have a 2018 Grand America. I ordered a bunch of accessories, including the Remus Quad exhaust and the illium works heel shifter.
Have to let me know how the heel shifter works out on this bike

@@RaptorPackAdventures I just traded in my 2020 R1250 GSA on a new-to-me 2020 K1600B that only had 5K miles. The previous owner had installed the Illium Works heel-toe shifter and I was unsure if I wanted to change it back to toe only but after riding about 1K miles with it there's no way I'd change it back. After a few days of riding and overcoming 50+ years of muscle memory riding with a toe shifter I find it incredibly useful.

I had a heel shifter on my Harley and loved it but after riding my BMW, I really don’t miss it. It does come in handy though. Thank you for watching our video

Wow! Very nice! Perfectly set up. Those are Forged Wheels too. They are not standard issue but a Option 719 extra and look absolutely wonderful compared with the painted cast wheels that are standard. The Illium bar risers look great. That guy fabricates quality goods. He has a YT channel. The windscreen looks fantastic. Can you store a full face helmet in that Nelson Riggs Weekender with no problem? The bike looks great! I’m real happy with how the bike looks and feels. Yes, the Weekender expands to fit Qatar full size helmet. I was scheduled to buy another bike but when I saw this one with the forged wheels, I had to buy it. Love the looks

Thank you. I agree. I checked out the Nelson Riggs link you provided. Sure enough it demonstrates a full coverage helmet being stowed. Nice. On long trips have you ever felt the need for a rider backrest?

Thanks for the video, Raptor Dan. I am about to purchase a 2019 K 1600 B with very low miles. Currently own a 2017 BMW RT and love it. Took a ride out to the northwest in August. It handles very well but not so comfortable for a 6000 miles trip. Anyway. I like the windshield choice but didn't catch the mnfg name?

Get rid of the stock mufflers! I installed the Freedom Performance slash cut mufflers on mine. Now my K1600B sounds as good as she looks and performs.
The cannons? 😆 That will be in the new year. I’ll look the Freedom Performance Slash out. I want to make sure the pipes look and perform superior on the bike

How has reliability been? Any specific quirks/issues that you’ve discovered? Great vid by the way!
This bike has been outstanding. I really haven’t experienced any issues like other owners of the bike. Oh, and it is currently for sale too. Trying a new bike from another manufacture
@@RaptorPackAdventures Appreciate the reply! If it’s not too personal, what manufacturer are you considering? I’m currently on a ‘14 Harley and I can’t really see myself making the purchase with what I feel are overly inflated prices. Personal perspective to be sure, but it’s enough for my wife and I to seriously consider other brands as we’ve never done in the past. So thanks for the video and the reply.

I bet the stereo on the Harley was the only thing better than the K1600. Lol
