I had Bob Bowman/Superior Trike install a Motor Trike kit on my 2019 Chieftain which had been recently serviced at my local Indian dealer. Upon completion Bob delivered my trike to me with numerous issues as listed below. 1). Fork lock did not work on the triple tree that Bob installed. I had to pay to have it fixed. 2). Handle bars that Bob put on were not properly installed = they were missing a bolt and the one other was about to come loose. Local Indian dealer said it most certainly could have caused a fatality had they not caught it. I had to pay to have it fixed. 3). My OEM Indian Garage door opener within the fairing did not work. Bob disconnected when installing my handle bars and forgot to reconnected it. I had to pay to have it fixed. 4). ABS wasn't working. I had to pay to have it fixed. 5). The trunk had a big gaps when door is closed. I had to pay to have it fixed. 6). Battery for Reverse was installed incorrectly and was not the correct size battery - while riding the battery does not recharge thru the main battery as it should and melted both terminals. I had to pay to have it fixed. When I asked about it all Bob Bowman stated that I would need to bring my trike to him to fix any of it - a 2.5 hour one-way drive time. This would require me to take my trike to Bob (2.5 hrs) return to my home (2.5 hrs) then back to pick up my trike (2.5 hrs) then back to my home (2.5) = 10 hrs total. Local Indian dealer and two other Motor Trike dealers, said my trike should have NEVER been delivered to me with any of these issues. Bob Bowman test drove my trike 1 mile. Both Motor Trike dealers said that test driving any kit installation requires much more than a 1 mile ride. I paid in full for the Motor Trike kit to be correctly and completely installed on my 2019 Indian Chieftain. Bob Bowman/Superior Trike is clearly in breach of purchase terms. I want a refund for the listed items that I had to pay to be installed correctly and have receipts. I filed a formal complaint with the BBB of which Bob Bowman / Superior Trikes will not respond. Stay away from this Motor Trike dealer.
