Seeing Jimmy Page sober and clean after beating his demons (addictions) in the 1980's brings joy to my heart. I have been a professional guitarist for 45years now (sober since 2001), and Mr. Page was my single greatest influence in the 1970s. His style, his stage presence, his sense of dynamics within a song helped shape the musician I became. I really was afraid we were going to lose him in the late 1970's into the late 1980's. But he fought back, cleaned up and emerged like some kind of wizard. If wizards do indeed exist, Mr Page and Mr Plant are wizards of the highest order.

Very observant Mo. The original drummer, John Henry Bonham "Bonzo" he was nicknamed, died back in September 1980. He was Robert Plant's, the lead singer, best friend. It caused the band's breakup. That drummer, in this video, is Bonzo's Son Jason John Bonham. Now you know. 😁

One of the greatest live renditions of this song. Plant - voice was lower in tone but gave it bottom end JPJ - bass with feet pedals and supporting the melody and riff form Page page - no 20 minute solos, just enough and played with so much swag Bonzo Jr - really turned on the burners towards the end From 7:16 to the end - it takes off to another level completely I’m in fuckin awe and goose bumped This will never be seen again and no band will ever come close Sad but true
No fireworks, no flames, no lasers, just four real musicians captivating the audience with talent. We should be blessed should we again have the privilege of another band to compare.

Great reaction, welcome to getting the led out. Good idea to review the original (when they were 19/20 years old) and compare to realize just how good they are still. Led Zeppelin, like so many English bands of the 60's and 70's trace their influences to American Blues music.

I was not impressed those times. Also thought their music got simpler. Just my feeling on what I experienced with them. Still loved Bohnam and JPJ though. Even Plant was off at times later before they finally broke up
@@bertpainter8385 I hear ya. I guess they were mortals after all.
@@PeterTea Maybe not to many people back then for sure. I still thought and thing today that they were the best band I ever saw early on. Pages writing and creative skills was insane. His slow blues playing, which you didn't hear from him much, except when he jammed at concerts was on another level to anyone else. Still one of my all time favorites along with Clapton with Cream, SRV and also Santana. Once the shredders came out I stopped following. Music seem to lose it's melodic sound with metal. I'm stuck in the 60's and 70's, lolol.
Simple has big impact.
The studio version is a must listen.
I knew you’d love this Mo!! Great to see you enjoy this. 😊🌹
Listen to that song is great. To see your smile while hearing it makes it amazing.
The guitar player is Jimmy Page
Grew up listening to Zeppelin. They are much older here, but they still have it!
So enjoyed your reaction Mo to this classic. Kashmir is epic and this is an outstanding live version . So glad you appreciated snd enjoyed it. Nice reaction 👍
Yes, now I know 🙃
He’s so good!
Thank you ❤️
@@MorenikejiTaiwo His Father, John Henry Bonham, is still considered one of the best drummers of all time.
So nice of you to take a moment of your time to respond to me. Take care beautiful.
Happy Easter. 😁
These geniuses….yep, older but still bring it…🤘😎❤️🎼
Mo gets off on the emotionality in both voice and guitar phrasing. Bless her young heart. Don’t we all!?
I have watched the whole show performed at the O2 Arena by Led Zeppelin so many times and still enjoy it. Great smile by the way.
Great selection, and a smile-inducing reaction on your part! May I suggest another vintage Led Zeppelin clip? Try "In My Time of Dying," from their 1975 Earl's Court performances -- these guys were at the height of their power at that time. You are jaw-droppingly beautiful, by the way!
Without debate, the amount of skill and talent seen on this stage will never be seen again, enjoy it right now!
After Led Zeppelin, everybody else is fighting for second place.
Ahhhh! You have found the greatest rock band ever. The soundtrack of my life. I'm 72.
I'm imagining an old folks home with these guys sitting in wheel chairs. Then coming to the stage singing this song. And returning to the wheel chairs for the next act. ha, ha
What a thunderous, majestic opening. That riff, I tell ya...
Next time don't be afraid to cry! The drummer is the original drummers son!! pkx
Hey MT you are truly the reason why men fought Wars you aren't ebony princess. That being said good to see you reacting to Zeppelin again. Please don't forget to react to David Phelps. Songs like just as I am. No more night. Oh Holy Night. Never Walk Alone. Mio Bambino Caro. Nessun Dorma period and so many more. Live only please as he seems better life than most people do recorded in the studio. Looking forward to seeing you again. And you're such a sweet girl. I love it
Beautiful song beautiful. Girl
You should react to their live performance of Kashmir with the Egyptian Orchestra
Robert Plant. Nordic god of singing, having the best hair of all humans, playing harmonica and riding horses.
The last bit about horses is true too.
And the guy who had a kid with his ex wife's sister... so very gross... Great singer though.
@@beyourself2444 Well the sister was his first love to be fair, LOL.
Oh, let the sun beat down upon my face, And stars fill my dream
If you liked Kashmir then you just might like Scheherazade by Rimsky-Korsakov. Give it a try and let us know. Also check out Bolero by Ravel and "Ecstasy of Gold" by Ennio Morricone.
That song is a lot to take in the first time, isn't it? Good reaction, Mo!
Awesome that you like it. Check out this and others back in their prime 70s and 80s. Whole lotta love is a must watch and Stairway to Heaven. 👍♥️
This blows your mind away perfect this is the best music from that Era top Song brilliant ❤.
Great job.. My fav part of the song is when Robert sings the Can I adlib that was awesome.. Robert showed all the young kids how to command a stage..
Morenikeji im going to call you SUNSHINE because you brighten my day every time i see you i hope i made your day. love Scott
Led Zeppelin. Best band ever. They , like us are travellers of both time and space.
Those were the best years of rock.
Thank you Led.
Check out the No Quarter version of this song with an accompanying Egyptian Orchestra led by Hasan Ramsey , how about a reaction to two different vibes . Well done btw .
Thank you so much for this gift. Haven't seen the one. Of course the song is classic. Everyone sounds Great . love to see you smile when you're enjoying a song 🎵
Music never to be forgotten, but you are a star.
Love this song so much! So glad you checked it out!
Thank you🥰
Zeppelin is one of the GOAT, the original drummer was John "bonzo" Bonham (RIP) and playing with the band in his fathers place...Jason. with his father looking down and smiling!!
Kasmir is one of the greatest tracks by any band ever. It is just awesome on every level.
One of the greatest live renditions of this song. Plant - voice was lower in tone but gave it bottom end
JPJ - bass with feet pedals and supporting the melody and riff form Page
page - no 20 minute solos, just enough and played with so much swag
Bonzo Jr - really turned on the burners towards the end
From 7:16 to the end - it takes off to another level completely
I’m in fuckin awe and goose bumped
This will never be seen again and no band will ever come close
Sad but true
No fireworks, no flames, no lasers, just four real musicians captivating the audience with talent.
We should be blessed should we again have the privilege of another band to compare.
My bet Zeppin moment was listening on an old Phonograph I pulled out of a cabin in the Pine Pass in Rockies in Canada to watch the Northern Lights. Magical!
Great reaction, welcome to getting the led out. Good idea to review the original (when they were 19/20 years old) and compare to realize just how good they are still. Led Zeppelin, like so many English bands of the 60's and 70's trace their influences to American Blues music.
Definitely react to the studio version!
Jason kills it on the drums honoring his Dad in the best way possible !
Love Zeppelin, one of my favourite band's.
Great reaction and you look great as allvays.
You remind me of Erykah Badu.
(The Queen of neon soul)
You should check her out.
(Didnt ya know)Is a good start.👌❤
The old white haired guy inspired 10s of millions to play guitar! He is the legendary Jimmy Page.
So much fun to watch your expressions, your whole face lights up.Love your hair like that, look like a princess, keep killing it"baby girl".😎
Old age is the price we pay for being there when this music was first made. A price well worth the paying.
Just watched again... such power. Definitely my favorite Zep song.
Watching an absolutely women listening to an incredible masterpiece doesn't get much better!!!
Planty always says hi and signs album sleeves at the wolves hone games, down to earth and a real gent so hunble and down to earth , pure midlands bloke
This is a great rendition of one of their most powerful songs - it was lovely to see your reaction!
