Due to the way the game is built you can play it without the disc making it so you can put any music CD you want into the console which the game can generate into a level
For anyone wondering why this appears really simple for a song like megalovania: Viv ribbon reacts with harder songs the more pop-y and closer to a pop song a song is, and as megalovania is somewhat closer to rock music, it has an easier course. Compare that to something like a Michael Jackson song which is incredibly difficult due to being a pop song.

From I've seen from Caddicarus, yes. If you have multiple tracks, the game lets you choose one of them. Just remember the number of the song you want to play because this game apparently doesn't display the titles of the song.
Actually, when put into the PS1, Vib-Ribbon inserts its code on the console itself, thus allowing you to take out the Vib-Ribbon disk and insert a music CD! (that's why the game has such simple graphics, because the game itself couldn't be too demanding or it wouldn't fit in the PS1) In this case, I was using an emulator and a .cue and .bin of a part of the undertale soundtrack that acted as a CD
@@GabrielaMilleo Oh wow, that’s actually really fascinating to know. Now I’m aware why the game opted for such strange graphics. 90’s obscure tech is interesting!
Yeah. First of all, get an app for mounting virtual CD’s, then go and get something to create the ISO files to mount with the App. Most emulators should be able to read CD’s.
