In short: Vib Ribbon is rendered almost entirely from line segments, which the PS1's GPU supports in hardware. The shaking is applied in software, by randomly shifting the vertices that define the line segments.

While it wasnt the first wireframe game ever made (very old PCs of the 80s i think started to use it, and idk if the NES with a lot of optimization), i think Vib Ribbon may been the one that uses it for other purpose besides the limitations, and imo is the best looking wireframe game ever. Their sole existence makes me think if it would be possible to do the same and take advantage of modern technology to make something even more ambitious! More wireframe games! We had a GPU that can do that, but no one puts it to use! XD

I love the amount of love behind the script that you dont show to educate (i appreciate the constraint), i honestly didnt expect to understand much from any of this as someone who has no clue about coding nor models, you're very good at explaining things
I was looking for exactly this video and you somehow managed to give me more information than i needed, while not making me overwhelmed, while keeping me engaged
it's not perfect but i seriously didnt expect this from a channel like this :DD

Vibri is a infinitely self-sustaining, non-reproducing, dimensionally phasing entity made of infinitely flat "string". For her, being naked or dressed is both meaningless and arbitrary. You cannot copulate with the unidimensional polyline rabbit.
