The only reason radahn was able to be resurrected was because his body was dead, not his soul. If a soul isn’t dead, the soul can be put into an empty and dead vessel to bring it back to life looking just like the soul, but having some of the same features as the vessel. This is shown because of promised consort radahn. Miquella took radahns soul and took mohg’s body and somehow mended the two, putting radahns soul into mohgs body. Pretty much bringing back radahn into a new body with some of mohg’s omen features and size. However, this was only doable because there was a soul to put inside the vessel. Since godwhyns soul was killed with the destined death, there’s no soul of godwhyn to put inside of a vessel. Of course you can do it the other way around, but that couldn’t really do anything since your just putting the coincidence of someone else into his somewhat body which is more of just bit if things resembling godwhyn somewhat with mainly the person the size of the dead godwhyn body with a few past features of gidwhyn. So unfortunately, since godwhyn’s soul is forever dead, godwhyn cant be revived. Thats just what i pieced together
yea fia's questline was the most interesting quest to me. She makes you lay with her in order to become the surrogate mother before she dies but they never pay it off.
There wont be, they have said so already and it is likely a monetary loss to continue supporting the same game with expansions. As even though the DLC sold extremely well, the DLC still doesnt make as much money as a new game. I think what would be preferable would be a sequel.
It wont be a monetary loss, not a chance, but it would make less than a new game and could be considered a loss in that regard. Doubt Fromsoft would even care.
Elden ring 2 just sounds dumb lowkey, I don’t want this game to be a trilogy or have a sequel, I do agree that there should be a dlc this size and then another one half the size, then call it. But sadly this will be the only dlc we get which I still have mixed emotions about the entire dlc
Throughout the whole DLC it felt like something was missing, some areas felt really like they cut way too much stuff from it, like the area after you beat Commander Gaius or the finger ruins, plus, in the DLC trailer we clearly see Miquella lifting the veil from the scadutree, but that doesn't happen in game. Could they make another DLC? Yes, but i doubt it, probably they did plan about two DLCs and later, for whatever reason, decided to make only one with all the content and had to cut a lot of stuff, at least that's what it seems to me, who knows.

She says that after she gets you to Roundtable Hold. When you get to Leyndel she thanks you for getting her that far and then parts ways with you to "find the purpose her mother gave her and ascertain why she yet lives burned and bodiless." after defeating Morgott and finding thorns on the entrance to the Erdtree she comes back wanting to team up again to go to the Mountaintops because despite not finding that purpose her mother gave her she realized that what she must do is become Kindling to burn the Erdtree no matter her "mother's designs". So despite the dialogue saying she never found the purpose her mother gave her she actually did find the one her mother gave her. it was to become the kindling that will burn the Erdtree allowing for the finale to play out.
@@806media it was there to catch the golden honey and I guess also the 1st planned location for the burning sequence, but then the devs decided to choose another place with more distance to get a better look on the reveal of enir lim the dungeon team just finished with this giant ash tray boss arena on the peak
They probably told everyone that there will be no more dlc maybe they want to surprise everyone with a future dlc that they plan to release just when people are about to move on from talking about how there needs to be a second maybe its already in the works

They already stated no more, all the missing lore pieces and such, are most likely gonna be left for us to piece together or just to our imagination like dark souls. And the cut content is exactly what it is. Cut content..
if the rumor of a tv series/anime/mie is true then its highly possible a new dlc will be made if it does well(or maybe already in the works due to the rumor)
They did say there wasn't going to be anymore after the shadow of the Erdtree, but they said that well before they got the IP to Elden Ring back, they dont even have the IP to Bloodborne, so there's hope there
Miyazaki explicitly compared continuation of Elden Ring to still being open to the possibility of continuing Dark Souls...it's been 7 years since Ringed City dlc released. It's so over bros. It will be a very, very, long time until we get anymore Elden Ring content

I do t think shadow of the erdtree was enough for the price ..and the time we waited for it...I hope they surprise us with a second and that they been secretly workin on it all along.. so it's not like 2 or 3 years away... hope they have elden ring 2 or another soulslike in production.. bloodborne 2 would be beyond cool.just dont make us wait long for more
Elden ring is done man, every single person who's been around during a release cycle of a From game has gone through the stages of grief where they cope about all the loose ends left that 'need to be wrapped up' by another DLC, and it doesn't come out, then they try and draw a pattern about the number of DLC based on previous releases, and it doesn't come out, then finally they point to the game having the biggest sales yet, and how From'd be stupid not to capitalise with another DLC, and it doesn't come out. I have seen this happen with every single From game. Lookup "DLC speculation" threads on any of these games that were active during their release cycle and you'll see what i mean. They're hinting at a tv show, so the only content i think is possible for ER moving forward is some kind of tie-in stuff with that. No more DLC though, i'd put money on it. Miyazaki is an auteur, he won't make something he doesnt want to even if a billion screaming elden ring fans are begging him to with wads of cash
I'm hoping for another dlc/expansion. But I think if it were to happen it would be half the size of the Shadow Tree.
