My hometown of Romiley and it looks spot on lol. Quite jarring seeing it in a game.
The white lights are to indicate to the driver to change the lights at the other end to marker lights to face oncoming trains. obviously this is traction dependant.
I love how we just thought, to hell with stopping at Ashbury's lol
it wouldn't be a bad idea to talk to the Armstrong powerhouse, Alan Thomson and the like. They could put sales on to go with the route. Otherwise, it costs an absolute fortune to play as you did in the video. £25 route, £26 class 185, £22 for Just Trains class 222 and that's before we start on the AP stuff
That would be down to the individual developers to decide whether a sale is required. We cant go around asking DTG AP ATS etc to pop a sale on sadly.
@@TrainSim_TV True but it would be nice if Just Trains did something like buy Hope Valley and get the 222 1/2 price. Also does the Steam version count as having the 222 or does it have to be the one purchased from the JT site for the scenarios to load (Confused). Thank God I've got Loco swap. Great route by the way I'm playing now
@Train Sim TV Would the route still work if I just have the AP 142 and the Class 222? I'm not really interested in getting the 185.
You guys have really killed it with these extensions, they look great 👍 Will have to get this one soon i have all the others. Do you think you will do many more routes for classic or will you do another extension for this?
I hope you carry on as the last few routes like the midland mainline and the updated south western expressways are really really good.

Route looks great, lover the feel of it and the detail thats been put in, congrats to the dev. couple of questions, I've been away from TS Classic for a while so my stock collection isn't great, when you say there are scenarios that can use default stock, what counts as default (i.e. how long ago in TS history seeing as there are new "default" stock with each release (or do you really mean back in the distant past with the original Kuju stuff (Zombie trains now surely?). Other question, if I buy the standalone but later to decide to purchase Shefield-Derby, will the iuntegration still work or is it just the extension that would integrate with the mainline route?
Indeed by default it means Kuju, simply to give those who have very little something to drive. In terms of standalone, they are exactly that I'm afraid, they are intended for those who may only have interest in one particular route etc.
@@TrainSim_TV Thanks for the reply 😀 I look forward to this being available as a standalone route - it's a shame you can't write the installer for the standalone route to be able to detect if the Shefield to Derby route is installed and then change the way it installs to merge into it. The way it is at the moment, I have a definite interest in the hope valley line so will be buying that standalone and the rest of the network will be a no-go for me as I don't want to buy 2 parts of the route straight away - if there was a way for people to be able to start their MML collection from different starting points from wherever their interest lies initially it's more likely to act as a gateway route for the rest of the network.
@Train Sim TV So by default stock you mean like the 166, HST, and 158? Will the standalone route on steam have any route/rolling stock requirements?
