Great video, as always! But why did a couple o planes (the Emirates A380 and one of the Tui 787) not retract the gear? I thought they had to retract on climb like during take offs.

I think it's standard procedure to leave the gear down in a wind shear event close to the ground. Thanks Miguel!

Emirates A380 was diverted to FRA because of the storm. There must have been a closer airport than FRA I suppose, so why?? 🛬
