This was the whole point, I’m so glad I was making sense & this resonated I feel like the word “poor” is very triggering for people which makes a lot of sense. I really appreciate your comment, it means a lot. ❤️❤️❤️
" Being poor is relative. Some people are poor in one way, but rich in other ways. " Ward Cleaver, Leave it to Beaver season 2 episode 15. This really resonated with me when getting married at 20 years old and raising a family with us having low paying jobs. The struggles bought us closer and when we finally got ourselves together we look back and embrace the hard times that make us appreciate the good times. Love and Hugs to you and the family Mary Beth💜🤗
I loved watching Leave it to beaver when I was younger. What you said is so true, hard times can bring families a lot closer if they’ll let it. I appreciate your comment, and you sharing a bit about your life with me. Love & hugs to you, and your family as well! ❤️
And God said ‘love your enemy’ so I obeyed and loved myself. People only see the decisions you made not the choices you had and are envious of the outcome yet never envious of the work it took to get there. You are being true to yourself. That’s all we want to see and we just want you to be ok. There is a lot noise out there.
I really really appreciate this! I’ve spent my whole life trying to love myself, I feel at peace with who I am. I know we are all in the process of change, and fear isn’t taking the driver seat in my life anymore. I’ve put so much work into myself mentally, and emotionally that who I was a few years ago seems worlds apart, it’s hard but there’s nothing more rewarding than self acceptance, and self love that radiates out into everyone around you. Now that I have a handle on those things, it’s time to work on other areas where I struggle, one just happens to be financially. I’m sure I’ll be dancing all around when things come up & blocks while in this phase of life too but I have a good tool bag to keep going. Thank you! ❤️
Thanks for sharing. Stay grateful. A person should surround themselves with family and friends that truly care about them and ignore those who don't. Us poors gotta stick together. 😉
I understand what you are saying. I grew up with 16 brothers and sisters so i know what feeling poor is. After i got married our income was way below the poverty lines at times and then sometimes we had plenty. At a church i went to some of the people and the pastor were talking about low income. I said i wish everyone had the same financial wise.He said what are you thinking that it should be diviided up equal. I said yes because no one would look down on another person. I like to tell people don't look down on other's. Only God sits that high
Oh my goodness that’s a big family!! I bet you have so many stories! I appreciate you sharing a bit more about yourself with me! It would be so nice if it were all equal, what a different world it would be! Thank you for your comment! ❤️
I get what you’re saying, I really do. In a way I completely feel this, but I want to reach people in the same pay range which is the poverty line. I want them to know that you can be grateful for where you are, and still be in a season of changing it. I know “poor” is a triggering word for a lot of people. I hope you have a lovely day! 💕
We were poor and living on farm eating out the pig barrels and I didn't consider myself poor, because Dad had go to school with no shoes on his feet. Today people have so many resources to get help back then there was really no help. School free lunch did not exist. We grew up got jobs and better lives.
You have been a blessing to me just watching your videos I would love to have your address so I can send gifts to you and your kids you are such a great mom always keep your faith and things will always be alright
This is so sweet of you Teresa, making these videos and connecting with all of you has been such a blessing for me! I’m working on getting a P.O. Box next week that I’ll let everyone know about. Until then I have an Amazon Wishlist set up that you can reach in the description box below or in the links on my homepage. Any items we receive will be open during a video or a live stream! I appreciate you so much, thank you! ❤️
I am only talking from an income perspective, and technically based on current US standards on what is considered poverty. I don’t live like I’m poor or feel poor. I’m glad your daughter doesn’t feel that way.
I’m considered poor what you’re referring to is homeless which is a whole step below being poor. Poverty line for a family of 3 is less than 25k a year. There’s no shame in claiming where you’re at, while still trying to grow.
Time and mental health is more important than money. I’m trying to figure out how to live on less money so I can have more time with my daughter and at home. I don’t think I can do youtube. I’m not very interesting. I am an extreme introvert who works at a grocery store. 😮 It’s hard sometimes.
I agree with that first part! Don’t sell yourself short, I’m also an introvert that’s not super interesting. Someone would find you interesting. I might make a video on all the ways I’ve found to make money when I’ve been in a pickle. Wishing you well on your journey through this! ❤️
I'm poor as far as money goes but God has blessed me so much more in other ways.
Being poor in money is not biggest problem .....but being healthy is the best gift..
I totally agree with this!! ❤️
As always thank you so much for watching, I hope you’re all well. Sending you all my love.❤
Perfectly said ,nothing stays the same forever ,we grow progress ,seasons change .live above our circumstances so we can navigate with joy.

Your welcome and yes I have lots of stories.
Poor is a state of mind. You are not poor, you are low income.

Same. I'm low income because I'm under government requirement above the poverty line. It's still sad.
It’s so hard, the area where you over qualify but still need help. Sending you a hug!

You make a lot more than my daughter who is totally disabled and in a wheelchair raising 3 girls.
My daughter has never thought of herself as poor.

@@TheneurodivergentcreativeI'm poor in that sense also, but I'll never think of myself poor.
If you have a roof over your head, clothes on your back, shoes to wear, and food to eat, then you are not poor.
I’m considered poor what you’re referring to is homeless which is a whole step below being poor. Poverty line for a family of 3 is less than 25k a year. There’s no shame in claiming where you’re at, while still trying to grow.

It’s always cool to hear from people all over! 🥰
I was poor until I went for a high education, which obtained me better paying opportunities. 😅😂
❤️❤️❤️

@Theneurodivergentcreative 🤗
Ok I have the same but I work my but off
Not every situation is the same. I work my but off too but mostly it goes into my children.
That's financial poverty, looks like your family rich. There are some things to contemplate.
