I'm in sales for a 3PL based out of Toronto, been working hard at doing good business for almost 9 years now and backing the heroes (the drivers) never beating them up on price. I want to thank you sir for the continuous hard work you amazing men and women do for our country. I try my best everyday to teach other brokers to do good business and by selling the right way we don't have to worry about putting our drivers jobs at risk. Pay on time people! We have the easy job behind our office chairs and computer screens, it's the drivers risking their lives daily. Many thanks!

    cons:

    THAT FREAKING WEATHER

Sk is allot less pop. Especially if you jump off main routes. They were supposed to have invested in truck pull offs/stops/services but failed. That being said lots of small town stations etc. To park sleep in truck

Where did you travel in New Brunswick that there is 2 lane highway? The trans Canada has been 4 lane for 18 years or more.

Great insight. Are USA drivers paid more than Canadian drivers?

Canada doesnt care too much about long haul drivers. You feel like using the bathroom? Figure it out on your own!

Cost of living is also lower in canada. So the adjustment in pay doesn't make a difference really.

Is there a special reason why you relocated from USA to Canada?

Probably visa issues!… It’s much easier to remain in Canada legally than the U.S.

The worst part of driving in the USA is all the Canadian truck drivers holding up the middle lane in their cascadia or Volvo.
