I just saw a clip of Ren saying that CNN the news Channel is talking about him in a negative manner. They were saying that he glorifies suicide . We all know that he inspires people to celebrate life . To get through the difficult times . His art inspires other artist .most of all his lyrics let's i know we are not alone......maybe it's his politics that they don't like . Anyway Ren said if they are talking about him he has hit the big time 😁

Part 2 is awesome
Part one is my favourite, personally. Part 2 is better as a song, but Part 1 is the best parts of what's unique about Ren's oneshots in his best showing. It's a real piece of art, Ren thinks it's one of his most underrated songs.

Poor Ren suffering from an actual physical illness Lyme disease caused by tick bite. He was being told it was in his head and medicated for that for years. He had a breakdown and has damage in his brain and body which he is having extensive treatment for in Canada.
How he managed to make such an extensive catalog of beautiful music with all that is a testimony to his love of music and talent of course
Keep diving into Ren boys, he's got plenty of tunes you can chuck on in the car, gym, chilling, whatever, he's got you covered!!!

In all the reactions I’ve watched I think you guys are the first to bring up how crazy a concept it is for our bodies to have the potential to betray us like that. We like to think we have control over ourselves at least but as it turns out… not so much. I think Ren’s music has become a beacon for so many. I genuinely believe his music has the ability to save a life/lives. Thank you for giving him the attention he deserves. So much love to you guys. Huge fan of the channel 🖤

I was misdiagnosed and told I was fine for a few years before I nearly died then when I got fixed I got ill again and my doctor put me through all these tests but in the end it was my mind making me sick . Same symptoms as before with anxiety depression being sick losing my mind all because I couldn’t trust them again . When I realised what my mind had done physically to my body I realised from then how powerful the mind can be . That was in my late 20s and now 47 and haven’t suffered since

I think a huge takeaway (the last line in the song is the most important one), in addition to the faults of the corporations and systems that are in place, is that we are the ones letting them do this to us.
We know now that the unabated greed of billionaires and priests, the naivety of the older generations, the rapidity and consequences of industrial advances, and the Nazi-style anti-intellectual/pro-nationalist movements, are to blame for the current situation.
Yet, what’s the point of blame if we keep laying down and taking it? The seas will continue rising up around us while we scratch and claw at one another. In our desperation to keep our heads above water, we fail to notice the men pressing the “send flood” button.

This song hit me SO hard the first time I heard and watched it!
It just resonated so much with me and my own experiences so much (and likely for many others too) - in particular for me, the part that you initially paused on, the part where the woman was talking in the flat monotonous voice and the "Basically your mind is making you sick".
I was given pretty much the same 'talk', almost verbatim, some years ago and it made me feel so f*cking angry 💢🤬😤
By this point in my life and with my health it was clear something really wasn't right, but a lifetime of doctors appointments and they were all stuck in this "it is all in your head" in some form or another, some stated more kindly or politely that others but still basically the same schtick. Malingering, Delusional, Attention Seeking, Exaggerating, Lying, Putting it on, etc etc
I think possibly one of the cruelest things was the point where despite the by-that-point mounting evidence of something being very much very physiologically 'wrong', they had me almost convinced that they were somehow right, that somehow I was so fucked up I was conjuring and manifesting these symptoms myself. They fucked with my head doing that shit. Even arranged for me to see a therapist to 'make me understand' I was somehow doing this to myself. I went to one appointment, stupidly mentioned I had just got an appointment to see a particular specialist, I was advised to cancel that appointment.
Like with what Ren has experienced (from what I understand of the situation anyway), there was something physically making me very ill. Not my own mind, not a 'repressed trauma' or whatever fucking BS
Luckily I didn't cancel the appointment, I saw the specialist which led down a path that wasn't easy, nor particularly fast, but was very thorough, and that did lead to finally getting correct diagnosis.
Only took around 3 decades, give or take.
But that previous background of constantly being told it was somehow something I was doing to myself, it really has fucked my head up. Had a really hard time actually accepting the situation and the real, actual, accurate, definite diagnosis and what it meant.What it means. Sometimes I still doubt everything. its fucked up.
Basically that is my long and boring yet deeply personal explanation, that you didn't ask for, of why this song really hit hard for me.
God I wish I could have flipped the table like he does in the video, would have been very carthartic.

Ren is an outstanding "un-signed" artist. I fell in love with him a few months ago and not looked back. Others to check....The tale of Jenny and Screech (plus violet), genesis, loosing it (my favourite), illest of our time and the hunger. All bangers but the trilogy will give you that OMFG moment
If you do a little Google deep dice into Rens past history and conditions then these videos and lyrics will hit you so much harder. Lyrical genius
Yes, Ren leaves those hidden gems that many don't get or understand right away.
After watching a few times they pick up on the topic and start looking it up and then they start understanding.
Hence another rabbit hole to to look up all the phrases and lyrics and what they mean.
Next thing you know Ren just educated someone by planting that seed and hopefully that person spreads the messages to others.
Education comes from the Latin 'To lead out' Ren has that in droves, he leads us to places we wouldn't go.
Everyone slams the pharma/Healthcare industry. It's too easy and simplistic. Try having untreated depression and anxiety and see how much you'd welcome help.
I agree. Nothing is black and white. There are good people working in pharma/healthcare. There are people who shouldn't be in those professions. It's like anything else.
Thats a good point. I also dont think the issue in the UK is one of big pharma making money so much as an underfunded health system, especially with mental health, in which there is too much box ticking and compartmentalising with not enough holistic diagnosis

Yep, CNN has done a hatchet job on Ren. Gutter press, reactionary journalism at its finest.
Let me make one thing clear to start: I've been LOVING all the reaction videos by many UA-camrs that I've watched to Ren's music.
But the one thing that always disappoints me: how often the videos are paused. Now, I get that you want to tell us your reactions, etc., but sometimes this destroys the atmosphere of the video you're watching and Sick Boi is a perfect example. The number of people I have seen pausing Sick Boi just at a point before something quick happens (an almost subliminal image, for example). They speak about what they have just seen/listened to but then go back into the video and all the atmosphere of Ren's anxiety, fear and confusion is lost.
Admittedly, you guys paused the video far fewer times than I've seen others do! But, for example, you pause right in the middle of Ren's anger, so you've built up the emotions with Ren and now you've stepped out. When you go back in you've lost that atmosphere and so the next part of his anger (no spoilers) is kind of lost.
Guys - I would LOVE IT it someone tried something a bit different: you watch the video the first time all the way through without pausing so you experience it in the state it was intended by the artist, THEN you go back through it with pauses, and telling us what you think, explaining stuff, and so on.

Ren needs some love right now, he's about to go into battle with CNN News over their use of a tiny out of context section of Hi Ren ( You have to kill you if you want to kill me) they used to show how he's promoting teenage suicide! Please check out his video on the subject.
