  • This was a quickly thrown together video, with minimal edits and minimal setups. I bought my second set of these and thought I should review them, as when I was searching I wasnt able to find the information I wanted before purchase.
In the video I mix up other brands and prices, interchanging the names of other brands dont pay too much attention to that. But the info on the Venom stands is solid.
These are the cheapest "real" stands I have found on the net. They can be had on amazon and ebay, but the best prices come from
kapscomoto.com (be sure to set the dollar amount to US) front and rear can be had for $72 front and rear plus pin head attachment is $97. There is always a 10% off coupon to be found. Free shipping over $99 otherwise flat rate $8. I am not affiliated with them, and was not given anything free. I have purchased 2 sets of these and have been pleased. I think they are the best value in stands and wanted to share my experiences. The price seemed too good to be true but they have done the job. 6 months with 1 bike sitting on a set. 2 months with another bike sitting on the 2nd set. Also I show you the trolley attachment.
    basic info,
    1.25in round tubing.
    2mm wall
    double wheels
    bolt together
    powder coated
    beefy lift adapters
    comes with 5 pins
using both stands max weight 700lbs
not intended for you to sit on the bike when on stands. stands are for bike only.

Very good video review of the front and rear stands, with the different options that they offer and material specs. Thanks for taking the time to make this detailed review. This is going to be my early Christmas gift for year 2020. LOL!!

Im glad this is still helping people. It has been 5 years now, and my bikes sit on them all the time. all of winter storage and when ever im not riding them i usually put them up on stands. so they have held up. only issue, is maybe the paint isnt so great. in that its just paint it have chip or rub off. and you dont want to leave it exposed so it rusts. So maybe once a year i see a paint chip and i just put some touch up on it, to avoid bare metal. Pretty minimal thing

Thanks for the comment and bringing this back to my attention. I should update that I am still using both sets of stands, and my bikes are on them basically 24 7 365 since I bought them

How did you install the rear stand onto the trolly? Mine arrived without instructions, and it seems like the wheel axles are about 1/2" too long to be maneuvered into place.

I mention in the video you have to unbolt the legs, so you have 2 separate pieces. have you don't that? if so you take the wheels off and just slide them in the hole then the pin goes over the other side. then bolt the hoop to the legs.

vashtsdaytona great review! But when you were assembling the trolley, how did you take off the wheels from the rear stand? Thank you.
