Really hope MPP is working on some active KW Dampers. I know KW has them. Really want to be able to switch back and forth between comfort and sport modes. Do those MPP sports have the updated collar? I remember you had a video months back they updated the whole line.
These ones do not and we prefer it this way in our use case so we can change the front springs out for the SS.P spring rates. The newer revision will require you to revert back to this straight spring adapter and lower spring perch.
@@zevcentric gotcha that makes sense. So the new versions of the MPP sports come with the updated collar or do you have to spec it one way or the other? Thanks
@@Brian_N that is correct. If you ordered a brand new set from us, it would not have the same spring shape in the front. You will get the revised version.
@@d.524 I have a ton of clients in Portland and Seattle. Many have driven down here while making a small vacation out of it. I can also ship parts to you without a problem. Please do email me and I'll tell you my top 3-4 mods depending on your priorities and budget. zevcentric@gmail.com
They will be more comfortable but won't handle as well. We cannot compare the "track worthy" active dampers to a non adjustable comfort coilover imho. Based on your objectives and needs they can be "better" if it suits your needs more. If you want more comfort while retaining active dampers then you can just add some softer lowering springs to the car.
SO COOL!

Are the MPP "Comfort Coilovers" better than the Adaptive suspension ?

Will MPP make just lowering Springs alone ??
no plans as far as I know.
If a car has normal dampers, folks want adaptive dampers... if folks have adaptive dampers they want normal dampers... oh for fucks sake?!?!?
All comes down to your needs. It’s just great to have the option.
Can you help me select which coil overs I need. I have a 2024 model y performance. I’m looking for a smooth ride and lowering it approximately 1”. TIA
