For Those who got the Harvey Bullock's line muted he says: So you survive the Joker and the rest of those freaks, only to buy it from Jed Clampett and a bunch of bugs?
"Why does Batman have a giant net?" He faced a giant flying Man-Bat and Penguin's many feathered fiends and a lady riding a rocket. He faced against enough flying enemies to prepare a net for them.
Batman:"You are a genius geneticist. You can give people super strength!" Farmer Brown:"But I don´t want to give people super strenght, I want to make giant cows!"
This is definitely one of my favorite episodes when I was younger. Now it's my favorite even more cus it's so cheesy. Thank you for covering this one man. You're awesome :D
I actually think this episode is fun; Batman doesn't always have to be DARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRK. sometimes, Batman can fight goofy villains like a farm-themed geneticist with monster cows
I do want to give respect to the late Peter Breck, the voice of Farmer Brown. On the commentary track, Bruce Timm tells a story that there was an airline strike in his home country of Canada, meaning that his flight to the US to make it to the ADR recording was canceled. However, instead of calling to cancel his recording for the role, he got in his car and personally drove straight from Vancouver to LA without sleeping. When Timm and the crew found out how committed to the job he was, they told that they would put him up in a hotel room for the night instead of letting immediately drive all the way back, which he was grateful for. Any actor who shows that level of commitment, ever to a production such as this episode, has to be given props!
Why is Batman and Gordon at the Agriculture Expo? It is Gotham! Poison Ivy or Scarecrow or Joker would definitely do something there. Heck, a new super villain themed after corn is completely possible! Gotham is a wild place.
I can sort of understand Bruce being at the expo. Maybe Wayne Industries funded the thing to help end world hunger or something like that, and Bruce needs to keep up appearances, but they could've easily just have Harvey Bullock or Renee Montoya in Gordon's place and say they're added security
Same E-Rod. It's not the best episode, but it's fun and goofy and the creature design is kinda cool. Though it did get me teased by my cousins growing up because they thought I was making it up.
Glad to see you can enjoy it. I agree it is tonally not fitting to the Animated Series but I think for TNBA it's fitting since after all this is the show that crosses over with Superman. So more goofy or at least out their ideas and villains are more fitting here. Never picked up on that every monsters is beaten the same way thing. Maybe in a rewrite they could have used it to explain that the growth used on them will increase size but not brain functioning, thus the animals are easily tricked and misdirected in spite of being so strong. And have Bruce figure it out and mention it a few times in the episode.
This may be one of my favorite dumb episodes of the DCAU. Idky the story where the Bat family fighting evil farmers with genetic science under their belts amuses me but it does for an Inept-toon.
I honestly hated cold comfort more because they assassinated freeze’s character and made him into a spiteful asshole and freeze being a head in a jar with spider legs was more stupid than the Jurassic Park bs in this episode I mean yes this episode is dumb but I can tolerate it I cannot stand cold comfort it takes one of my favourite villains of the animated series and butchers his character like he became a surrogate father to koonak in the subzero movie and all of a sudden he decides to kill Bruce’s surrogate father Alfred hell beforehand he was intending on killing Tim drake Bruce’s surrogate son WTF?! Like I’d understand it if this was the joker or some other villain but it feels extremely out of character for Mr freeze to be doing this
@@roboguy75 As did the Harley Quinn show. Feels like "Cold Comfort" the team wanted to push Freeze into being a much darker more twisted character when the thing is after his loss he was just cold to more general empathy and doing anything for a specific desire regardless of who it hurt then you know just getting revenge.
If you want a better monster based Batman TAS episode, I suggest the Manbat one. But if you want a good scary Batman TAS episode, the introduction of Scarecrow wins by a mile.
Personally I never hated this episode. Farmer Brown I always felt bad for as he legit wanted to help people and the judge basically ruined him over something that while fairly dangerous actually didn't even result in anyone getting hurt and I kind of wished we had moments where Batman tries to appeal to Farmer Brown's better nature like he tended to do with his other enemies.

I know other people have said something, but Bruce being at the expo is not that out of place given he’s an industrialist and entrepreneur so perusing the new and up-and-coming innovations and creative minds in various industries and markets would be in the best interests of Wayne Enterprises. Regarding the repetitive strategy against the creations…how exactly would you expect one to take on giant (mutant) animals/creatures? They are giants so any normal wrangling methodology is out of the question be it Robin, Batgirl, or even Batman himself. And, plus, Batman doesn’t exactly have lethal arsenals in his belt of convenience to knacker them like it were a slaughterhouse.🫤 For other IneptiToons episodes, there are some really bad episodes of _The Real Ghostbusters_ I’d love to see you tackle.

Thanks!
Sure woulda been nice to actually hear that “impeccable delivery” from Robert Costanzo. 🔇
That part with Bullock's line got muted.
I recommend "Bearing Up Baby" for Rescue Rangers. The parents got off too easy and Humphrey got off too hard.
Wish I coulda heard that impeccable delivery.

I suspect the writers worked backwards from that goat's "Baaaaatman" joke
I could believe it. Us nerds will move heaven and earth to give a joke the proper context.
I feel glad and grateful that you were able to find compliments for the episode. I love the episode.

Great video. The episode is bonkers! It's so much fun, I enjoyed it. The creatures designs were great.
Not sure if you were being sarcastic, but yes, agriculture expos are a real thing. I’ve been to some of them and they’re actually kinda cool.

7:34 - I'm in tears. 😂
3:21 That's a sheep, not a cow, man. It has a short tail and goes "baa!" Cows do appear later in the episode, but that is clearly a SHEEP. LOL

It was pretty funny the goat eating Bullock’s donut just like in Mrs Doubtfire party scene
6:26 Also cause Man-Bat, Firefly, and Roxy Rocket all exist.
Looks like the MCU Blade has just joined the Legends of Fandom.

Oddly enough I find the talking goat the most unnerving of the bio monsters.

The Bat-Fam-Damily rescues Bullock from, as Shaggy would say, "One-third of a BLT."

At least the Batman Beyond episode Meltdown utilized him better and made him tragic again.

I think this episode could have worked in Superman: TAS.
These giant chickens still aren't nearly as stupid as the one in The Real Ghostbusters

I also like this episode as it is fun. Also, did Harvey's line get muted because of copyright?
I enjoy that episode.
I always felt superman and batman swapped episodes. this worked better with superman and Roxie Rocket worked better on batman

So You Wanna Do A ‘Batman: TAS’ Episodic Adaptation Of George Orwell’s “Animal Farm”?!
