It's not a fall book but i have a book rec for you. it's a Hades and Persephone retelling called Girl, Goddess Queen by Bea Fitzgerald. It's not spicy, but in my opinion it's such a good book and i think you will enjoy it
I reread the « 13 To Life » series by Shannon Delany every fall. It’s my absolute favorite books. The vibes are absolutely perfect in the fall. There were originally 5 books in the series but she is slowly rereleasing them with different covers and some bonus content (from what I’ve understood from her Instagram posts). You can’t get the original ones anymore unless maybe you find second hand copies but the first book in the series is being rereleased beginning of October this year. It’s a small town romance. There’s werewolves. There’s deep, dark secrets. Our female main character is an aspiring journalist and her life changes forever when she meets the new guy in school. I don’t know if you’ve ever heard of the series but I would definitely recommend it.

I highly recommend reading the Truly Devious series by Maureen Johnson in fall! It’s a YA mystery, but it’s not too creepy. It’s slightly more on the cozier side, but at the same time the stakes are still high (I’m probably not explaining that very well). It’s my second favorite book series! It has dark academia, is set on a remote mountain in Vermont at an exclusive boarding school called Ellingham Academy. It has amazing found family, and It’s a then and now time line, when in the now timeline, Stevie starts at Ellingham Academy, determined to solve an unsolved murder and kidnapping case that happened at Ellingham. But keep in mind that the mystery spans three books, so it’s not solved at the end. And it is technically finished with 3 books, but there’s two more out following Stevie, but she’s solving different murders, and can be read as stand alones. There’s going to be at least 2 more though.
33:02 just finished Twisted Lies and I can confidently say that Ana Huang might be my favorite romance author!!😍I'm obsessed!!! I'm hoping to get Twisted Lies and start the King of Sin series(especially with Dante's cameo in Twisted Hate!!!). I also have House of Sky and Breath and some other new ones and re-reads. I can't wit to read more books before the year ends!!💖📚love your videos as always!!
You will love Stephanie Archer books! I read both her Queens' Cove series and Vancouver Storm series, and I plan on reading her backlist! her writing is super fun and fast paced with likeable characters

You don't have to but you can if you want. Both the Caraval and Once Upon A Broken Heart series take place in the same world and there are a few characters that appear in the OUABH series from the Caraval series but it's totally up to you.
I really recommend reading Caraval First. Jacks isn’t just mentioned in the Caraval series, he’s a pretty big part of the plot in Legendary and Finale. If you read once upon a broken heart first you’ll be missing a lot about his character.
