One thing that I feel should be mentioned is the ability to buy replacement parts from the OEM and whether or not the OEM provides guides on how to repair your device. I say this as my 5 years old roomba has been cleaning 4x a week for the last 5 years and the one or two times something had broken, it was simple and easy to get a replacement part and replace it myself. I’m not familiar with Roborock but it would be nice to add to your comparisons.
@@VacuumWars Can you talk about the maintenance cost to the vacuums. For those who are trying to decide. How often do filters, vacuum bags, other parts need to be replaced. If possible dollar amount.
Because of working from home during covid, battery life can be more important because of noise. With my i7+, it can finish vacuuming my entire apartment if I go out to buy lunch or run an errand. Unfortunately the S9+ can't do the same job in one run so often needs to be run while I'm at home and the noise can be bothersome. Not only does the S9+ need to recharge in the middle of cleaning, but it runs significantly slower than my i7+ too.
@vacuum wars I think you missed two big points regarding the Roborock…..one being that it has no bin-full sensor. It’s an issue because the bot sometimes fails to empty itself after a job because the alignment is sometimes off when it autodocks. This has a cascading effect because it results in the next job starting with a potentially full bin. It was getting to the point that I had to check the bin to make sure it emptied almost every time because otherwise the bot didn’t clean at all, it just wandered around with a full bin. The other issue with a mop/vac combo is that because the bot has a water tank, it inevitably has a smaller dust bin. The issue is again exacerbated by the fact that it doesn’t have a bin full sensor, so the possibility of the bin maxing out during a cleaning run and doing nothing for the rest of the session is very real….these were kind of deal breakers that def give the edge to iRobot in my opinion.
Not really you can just schedule a few rooms and it'll auto empty then just have a separate schedule for the other rooms and it'll empty... I don't even own one and even I know that... Creating two schedules takes 30 seconds and your problem is solved It's also one less sensor to clean which means roborock is the winner

How about finding a way to test their HEPA filtration system? A vacuum is only as good as it's ability to prevent the particles from becoming airborne.
True, but remember these tiny vacuums have only a fraction of the suction that upright versions have. Less airflow, means a regular filter might be enough. To help combat the lack of HEPA filters, I make sure to run Air Purifiers in my house. My robot vacuum doesn’t aggregate my allergies, and it doesn’t have HEPA.
I just ordered a roborock s7 (without empty dock) yesterday. Haven't watched this yet, but hoping it doesn't convince me I made the wrong decision... Couple reasons I went with the s7 is the mopping (I have all tile downstairs) and that it's bagless... I'll get a Roomba to replace my current roomba for upstairs (which is all carpet). From what I seen so far, roomba is better for carpets.
How do you like it? We have 2700 sq ft carpet, tile and vinyl. One Persian cat and 1 girl. Concerned about pet hair and ability to clean carpets. Any issues with emptying the dirt bin or hair breaking or getting stuck on rollers etc? How is the maintenance? Does it auto detect when the on-board bin is full and go back to the base for a clean or does it keep cleaning but doing a poor job because the bin is full? Does the robot detect when the outside waste bin bag is full?
I would much rather each vacuum get a rating (say 1 to 10 or 1 to 5) for each category than simply awarding a point to the one that might be very slightly better. Not only would this compare more accurately, but it would allow people to compute their own weighted scores based on how much they value each of the individual categories.

Battery life is a huge deal. For those of us that work from home, we need the vacuum to finish the job on the first attempt. I can't have the vacuum running out of juice, then resuming while I'm on a conference call. 5 hours later when the battery fully recharges, everyone is starting to get home and will want to watch TV or have dinner without the vacuum rolling under their feet. The battery is a much bigger deal than people realize.
Also, batteries degrade over time, which means they don't hold charge as long as they used to. Having a bigger battery is good because it may very well mean that you never need to replace it. For instance, say that the usable battery capacity drops to 50% after several years. If that's still enough to vacuum your home, you won't even notice it.
It's 4am. I'm at work. On my first break I'm watching vacuum wars. Just being honest. Great review! Might get the roborock for my parents since they have a lot of hardwood floors. Thanks! :)

I agree with LiDAR being significantly more accurate. One time, our old room a i8 got stuck INSIDE A KEEP OUT ZONE. Never had problems with it on our Roborock s5 max
The Roborock suffers from a fatal design flaw that over time causes an error 10 'filter is clogged or wet' and reduced fan speed. The issue is that there is something about the design that allows dirt and dust to pass the filter and catch basin and clog the intake fan housing. This also causes reduced suction power over time. The other problem is, there is no easy way to clean the intake, it requires disassembling the machine and about 3 hrs of your time.
Thanks for this review. A large knock on the S7 is the bag system and not just a canister to empty. What are your takes on the bag system for the S7 in the United States.
actually the choice here is pretty easy. If you have (more) hard floors, go for the Roborock. If your floors are carpet. It's the Roomba you will want.
I don't think the T9 is available in North America and there are rumors that it will not come here as part of the agreement that allows Ecovacs to use iRobot's patented brush system.
This format is amazing. Actually you've made some similar videos in the past and I loved them. Actually last month I finally decided (based on over an year watching your channel and future expectations) what robot I want to buy and am already having a ton of fun with the Roborock S7. For a future purchase I will take the auto empty bin. But even though I have it, I still continue to keep close track on the channel, so yes - do more Matchups!
Yeah I think the S7 auto empty dock (EU bagless version) will take the point if you ever get to test it. So many people have always wanted a bagless version due to the amount of pet hair their robots pick up daily. Myself included, plus the S9+ here in australia is like $2k+ its a little overpriced comparatively for international markets.
@@ratcliffe1992 I don't have the dock but have thought about it. I have debated getting it since there is not a bagless version in the US and the dock is pricey. Hoping it will decrease since the S7 Max Ultra will be coming out soon. I empty the S7 bin but I hate when the dust gets over my fingers and is flying everywhere in the trash bag/air even with just a small amount that was vaccumed. Did you notice any issues when emptying the auto emptying bin/canister since it is bagless? Is it true that with the bagged version you can't see how much dirt it picks up and once you take the bag out it breaks?
Great series but have a couple problems: you need to weight the points. Giving the roborock 1 point for cost and right now it’s $50 different. But then giving only 1 point for cleanliness 96 vs 80 is not even close. One thing I didn’t see was object avoidance. I would add that category.
It's strange because I purchased both for different reasons. I've never had a single problem with the roomba and it's integration into the Google Home app was seamless whereas the Robo I've had countless issues. Gets stuck constantly, the app barely works, the self emptying vacuum clogs, and the brush system clogs. None of which the roomba has had in over a year.
So now the real question is whether the Roborock can replace the irobot duo. The dream team link feature of the Roomba and Braava where it completes vacuuming then sends out the Braava to mop. Is the Roborocks mopping capabilities up to par or better than the stand alone Braava? What is the cleaning quality comparison and time saving difference between solely using the Roborock doing 2 in 1 or using the iRobot dream link. Hmmmmmmmm
Braava is actually so bad. I used to own one, my place is mostly tiles and in all honesty it leaves streaks, marks, and a mess everywhere. Your tiles are washed and clean, they just look like they aren't especially if they are shiny / glossy finish.
Owning both of these robots and the I7+... The Roborock S7 is clearly the winner in my needs/opinions. However, the mopping .is a complete joke and doesn't soak the mopping pad well enough and leaves a small streak. This seems to be more of a design problem. I'd like to see why your video looks so good and all of these complaints online from other people have similar problems.
We own 3 Roomba S9's. Two have been outright replaced for irreparable electronic faults and one is in and out of the shop for various fault codes. They are great when working, you just need to have spare on hand. Looking for other options now. Roborock sounds promising.
I like the comparison series idea. You always give great information on the products you test. Thanks for all you do to help us make the wisest choice.
You should have tried the Roomba in the dark. It is a lot worse than with light. And for me personally it is a big plus that the station of the Roborock can be used without bags as well. I don't want to buy expensive bags every 2 month.
That's only available in the European version I think. You can only buy the version with bags if you live in North America, something to do with FCC requirements or whatever I heard.
Navigation - point to Roborock. LIDAR does not require the room to be lit, whereas, VSLAM does, thereby limiting the window as to when the iRobot can be run. With regards to cleaning ability, you should take into account that Roborock cleans around the empty dock base, whereas, iRobot does not. In addition, the operation of the Roborock is superior to that of the iRobot. For example, when Roborock encounters an error the robot announces exactly what the error is and how to resolve it, whereas, iRobot directs the user to open the app for resolution instructions. On a personal note, I have had immeasurably more problems with iRobot than I've ever encountered with Roborock. In conclusion, I very much enjoy your reviews and videos.
To be critical, I think you missed a few things. 1. The reviews of the S9 have been terrible, the number of errors that brick the machine makes it unbuyable IMO. 2. Single point per category scoring does not show any nuance, I think this review could've been summed up by saying buy the roomba if you have carpet, and he roborock if you have hard flooring. The channel is a great source of information, and very comprehensive. But I feel like it can miss the day in & day out usability that only owning the vacuums can offer, and instead we are given numbers that are hard to quantify. Keep up the hard work, always good to see the channel growing.
I went from the iRobot braava jet M6 to the Roborock S7, and the S7 is in a whole different universe. It’s almost eerie how intelligently it navigates, especially compared to the system in the M6. You couldn’t pay me to go back.
I previously said that I would get a roborock for my tile downstairs, and a roomba for my carpet upstairs. After getting the roborock, I think I'm gonna get another s7 for my upstairs. Just to be able to manage both robots from the same app. As well as not need to buy separate accessories and replacement parts. Although roomba is said to do better for carpets, I don't believe I need the extra effectiveness from it.
Which one is going to be the greatest adversary on the battlefield? Which one is going to kill more people in the next Robot Vacuum War? Which one are you ready to face attacking you on the battlefield? War, war never changes.
(1) Are either of these 2 more likely to grab onto a bed skirt and not let go? (2) with regards to the one that mops too - how does it work around a sloppy dog’s water bowl and loose dog hair? I have that issue with Swiffer. I try dry - sweeping first, but if I get too close to the bowl, I just get a mess that often doesn’t pick up. I may have to wait 10 mins or so before I go back with the sweeping. It may be next to impossible to put in auto mode if I’m somewhere else.
Please add a 2 different corners to your hardwood square box tests or at least place a chair , as during vacuuming and especially with moping, it makes a huge difference to the result, as it has an angle of approach, and navigation, cleaning method it uses, I own a T8 aivi and there are issues when moping around table or chair legs
Another good feature a company can add is the ability to customize mopping/vacuuming intensity based on area of the house it's in. So the entryways of the house get a harder scrub. And it preserves battery not having it as intense for other areas.
I have seen TONS of s9+ reviews saying it’s terrible compared with older models and that it needs a (hopefully forthcoming) software update to fix the problems. Do you think it’s better than the i7?
The S9 had some serious hardware issues with early models becoming unusable due to the dreaded “Error 31”. iRobot replaced those units under warranty and my second unit has been great ever since. I will say that the D shape of the S9 is a disadvantage when it gets under dining room chairs. Ours seem to be just right to let it in but confuse the heck out of it getting out. Better than the i7? My MiL has the i7, in a tighter floor plan than ours and no self-empty base. It’s real close, but I still like our S9, especially on carpet. It’s had no trouble at all with my wife’s long hair, or our dog’s constant shedding. Can’t wait for VW to get his hands on the brand-new j7+!
I recently had to send back my s7, after ending up a very common error called #2, which tells you the bumper is stuck and needs cleaning... the reseller confirmed that over half of the s7's are being returned due to this error. It was so disappointing
Enjoy watching your videos. My favorite channel for anything related to vacuuming. Bought a shark apex after m zero after watching your review and i have no regrets. Loved the format of thi video. Please continue making more.
I prefer the roomba s9 because I have more experience with roomba’ s , edge cleaning, and suction. And finally found something that compares roomba and roborock
Hi what's s good vacuum for someone without children and without pets? Mix of carpet and tiled floor. We're clean people and don't leave mess behind just want to remove manual weekly vacuuming and some mopping (not crucial, we can self mop).
Opinions please! If you had a home with 90%+ hard floors (the exception being one 9 X 12 area rug in the living room), would you just buy the best hard floor robovac, and manually vacuum the area rug? The bonus of that choice is that a vacuum for the carpet could be a model with a hose and attachments for extra convenience.
The thing is, I looked up reviews about the Roomba S9+ and about 90% of them mentioned a fatal software flaw that would basically brick the Roomba after just a week or two of usage. It wasn't just one or two reviews saying this, it was nearly all of them. So I don't know where you found good reviews for the Roomba.
I've had no problems with my Roomba S9+ - nothing bad about it's competitors. The only other robot vac I've had was the Neato Model? years ago. It also did the job,
@@VacuumWars Oh man. I can't even order it if I tried. Samsung's website won't let me preorder. I guess they shut down new pre-orders. Make sense though with chip shortages, I imagine they won't be able to pump very many of these out with that new Intel chip it requires.
This was an excellent concise review. The only thing missing was comparison information about noise levels or decibels, especially since I have read that these robotic vacuums can be noisy.
I can’t speak for Roborock, but my Roomba j7+ Is pretty quiet, you could easily have a conversation while it was running. (The S9 has a higher-powered motor though, so I presume it’s a little louder.) On the other hand, it sounds like it’s about to take off when it’s emptying its bin into the dock. But it only does that for a few seconds anyway.
This was great! I would also like to see tests on how well they work when crossing boundaries between carpet and hard flooring, how well they avoid getting stuck under furnature that is about the same clearance as the height of the robot, and how reliably they return to base, especially if the base is somewhat obscured by furniture or whatever.
in some videos you mention Roombas advantage of a modular build with many available spare parts. How is the repairability of the Roborock in comparison?
This is a very good point and was one of the main reasons I decided to go with the S9. iRobot *still* sells repair parts for the 1st gen Roomba from 2002! Not only that, but the modular design you mentioned makes it easy for the end-user to order parts and carry out repairs. After my first (non-Roomba) robot vacuum I bought back in 2014 broke a couple years later and the company brushed me off, you can understand why the repairability was a big factor for me. It's nice to know (or assume at least) that if I need S9 parts 5 years from now I will most likely still be able to order them from iRobot. The second reason was the S9's performance on carpet cleaning, which I can vouch that is indeed very good in my experience.
Good stuff here. My Roborock S5 gets terribly tangled with dog hair (4 dogs). I love pretty much everything else about it, but it makes me weary about buying another. I know the S7 comes with a rubber brush now, but the Roomba looks astonishingly good at not getting tangled.
Which shape better cleans under the toe kick on kitchen cabinets? I dragged out my Neato that I've had forever but put away when I got multiple cats. I wanted to see if I even needed a robot vacuum and this is convincing me that, yes, I do. I just need/want one with a self-cleaning dock. This old Neato did a great job with its flat front driving right up under the cabinets and sucked up all the fur. I'm leaning towards the Roborock because it has better reviews (and a mop) and the S9 seems to have a lot of problems but I want to make sure I'm buying the best option for cleaning the whole floor not just open spaces. I just ordered the Ilife W450 to mop but I know it's too tall to clean under the kitchen cabinets. My hope is that the Roborock will vacuum thoroughly under the toe kick and also mop under there.
I love my s9+. I got it on sale for 899. I had issues with my first one and returned it. But the second one has been perfect. It has some moment were does it get stuck. But not often. I was wondering how this new vacuum would do. Looks really nice. I wanna know how the mop is vs the Roomba m6 mop.
I do like the head to head format for alike robots. Maybe it's worth giving half-marks for 'slight' advantages like the price being only 10% cheaper or the hair tangles being equally good except in extreme hair length circumstances. I do wish your reviews included more tests of navigational complications since in my experience finding a robot that can navigate your space can outweigh some vacuum performance ability. For example, I unfortunately had to return the Deebot D8+ which was an *excellent* robot, but it struggled with my mirrored closet doors and navigating over my dark blue bathroom mat. My Roborock S6 has no issue with these environments, and that is the only reason I was unable to "upgrade". The Deebot had no problem vacuuming a deep shag carpet whereas the stock S6 side brush would get tangled up in it. It turns out that a knockoff replacement side brush solved this problem on the roborock. Some tests I would recommend are mirrors, dark rugs, shoelaces, loose cords, tight spaces (like navigating under 4 legs of a chair), shag carpeting... I'm sure you can find more examples of navigational complications online. Anyway, love the channel! Keep it up!
I bought a s9+ and I totally love it.... but I bought a brava jet m6 for the moping side and I'm not impressed with that purchase though. So might have to consider the robo rock
Yea I got the bravajet as well. It just seems to squirt water down then smear it around, as opposed to how the older Scoobas would actually suck the dirt off the floor.
i saw a review on another channel that tested to see if hardwood floors get scratched by robot vacuums. Have you seen any damage in your use of robots or plan to test this in the future? Thanks
If I were to have that happen, gosh that would be such a deal-breaker. Maybe some floors are more prone than others, but it isn’t something I have come across.
I honestly wouldn't mind seeing the Deebot OZMO N8 Pro + compared with the Roborock S7 + Auto Empty Base in one of these. I got the former for a fantastic deal at the time, but now that Roborocks Auto Empty dock is out I wouldn't mind seeing a comparison for future purchases.
We have longer carpet, few hard floors, two people with long hair, and a St. Bernard who is shedding like crazy. Think the Roomba might be better due to the deep carpet clean and hair tangle resistance?
I had a horrible experience with the S9. Never once got it to complete a mapping run of a two-bedroom apartment. The S6 MaxV completed it perfectly on the first try.
For my unfinished basement which i use as a photo studio thus photographey stands etc are often moved around is the S7 a better choice due to the laser navigation?

Actually last month I finally decided (based on over an year watching your channel and future expectations) what robot I want to buy and am already having a ton of fun with the Roborock S7. For a future purchase I will take the auto empty bin. But even though I have it, I still continue to keep close track on the channel, so yes - do more Matchups!
Great to hear! Thank you!
I would love to see just a mopping battle between Roborock S7 vs iRobot Braava Jet.
Thanks.
Wait, there is a bagless version??? Any way to get that in the US?
@@simioni yep I got mine bagless, bought from aliexpress, but I had to parcel forward it from Germany to get it imported
@@ratcliffe1992 That's so much nicer. Now I'm tempted to do the same. Thanks for the tip!
Great video. Would be awesome to see the comparison between the Roborock S7 and the Ecovacs T8 with auto empty.
I second this
Great series but have a couple problems: you need to weight the points.
Thanks for sharing. Was very tempted to go for the robo, but now I think i go with the roomba S7+
@@hugodsa89 hmmmmmm interesting then 🧐🧐🧐
Owning both of these robots and the I7+...
Good to know. Thank you.
Would love to watch your video. But youtube keeps showing an ad blocking the video when I cast to the TV and there is no way to get rid of it
Oh no! Sorry to hear that!
This isn’t the video we wanted, it’s the video we needed.
Hi hi! Would you do the roborock s7+ vs the roomba j7+
Would like to see an updated version with S7 MaxV Ultra vs S9+
Good input and much appreciated. Thank you for watching and for your kinds words.
Thank you for your feedback.
I went from the iRobot braava jet M6 to the Roborock S7, and the S7 is in a whole different universe. It’s almost eerie how intelligently it navigates, especially compared to the system in the M6. You couldn’t pay me to go back.
Glad you are happy with it!
We just got our S7 without the auto-empty dock (for now)! It just mapped our house and we love it!!
That is great to hear!
great review! really makes me want to go from my roborock S4 to S7 for the bin and mop, but just hard to justify when the S4 works so well for us.
Haven't thought of getting a product like this until now...looks impressive!
Back to watch another terrific video. This comparison is loaded with useful info. Thanks again!
Wow thank you!
Awesome comparison! Thank you for the great video!
How about Ecovac vs Roborock?
This was the matchup I was hoping to see! Keep doing stuff like this 👏🏻
Great to hear! Thank you!
I would love to see a video comparing only robot vacumes that have obstacle avoidance features!
Like the new format!
Thank you!
Another good feature a company can add is the ability to customize mopping/vacuuming intensity based on area of the house it's in. So the entryways of the house get a harder scrub. And it preserves battery not having it as intense for other areas.
The roborock has that.
I have seen TONS of s9+ reviews saying it’s terrible compared with older models and that it needs a (hopefully forthcoming) software update to fix the problems. Do you think it’s better than the i7?
I have preferred the i7 in a past video.
Want a comparison between Ecovacs DEEBOT OZMO N8 PRO+ and Roborock S7.
Nice to see that humans have finally found a working use for lidar.
I'm releasing a new video today at 4pm EST , "The BEST Robot Vacuum With Obstacle Avoidance A.I." that you might enjoy.
I needed this. Thank you.
You are so welcome.
Wow, thanks!
I prefer the roomba s9 because I have more experience with roomba’ s , edge cleaning, and suction. And finally found something that compares roomba and roborock
It is a very nice addition to the usual format. I really liked this presentation and now I will be able to recommend your channel for buyers
Thanks so much!
Would love to see a Neato D4 vs Roomba i3+, or D8 vs S9+ match up!
Hi what's s good vacuum for someone without children and without pets? Mix of carpet and tiled floor. We're clean people and don't leave mess behind just want to remove manual weekly vacuuming and some mopping (not crucial, we can self mop).
We go over some good options and our reasonings in our 2022 Top Picks video right here: ua-cam.com/video/UAivdTJsRig/v-deo.html
Best Vacuum for Tile Floors video is out now! ua-cam.com/video/f35stDHzGMg/v-deo.html Thank you for your question!
this kind of video format is great!, keep it up
Opinions please!
The only other robot vac I've had was the Neato Model? years ago. It also did the job,
That was for early units, and all were replaced under warranty, albeit with a significant wait due to supply issues. My second unit has been great.
@@GoFastGator Well, that's good to hear because the S9+ is a pretty sleek piece of hardware
Thank you very much for this useful video! It has really helped to see the differences between both the vacuums! Really Appreciate it 🙏🤗
Great to hear!
I'm excited to see a review of the new Samsung JetBot AI+
I am looking forward to checking it out too. It’s still on back order though!
@@VacuumWars Oh man. I can't even order it if I tried. Samsung's website won't let me preorder. I guess they shut down new pre-orders. Make sense though with chip shortages, I imagine they won't be able to pump very many of these out with that new Intel chip it requires.
My Jet Bot AI+ and Jet Bot + review is out now - ua-cam.com/video/YQEL-xLJLfY/v-deo.html
This was an excellent concise review. The only thing missing was comparison information about noise levels or decibels, especially since I have read that these robotic vacuums can be noisy.
I can’t speak for Roborock, but my Roomba j7+ Is pretty quiet, you could easily have a conversation while it was running. (The S9 has a higher-powered motor though, so I presume it’s a little louder.)
On the other hand, it sounds like it’s about to take off when it’s emptying its bin into the dock. But it only does that for a few seconds anyway.
When will you review the Samsung Jet Bot AI+?? I already saw some videos appear, but we need some solid testing from you
My Jet Bot AI+ and Jet Bot + review is out now - ua-cam.com/video/YQEL-xLJLfY/v-deo.html
This was great! I would also like to see tests on how well they work when crossing boundaries between carpet and hard flooring, how well they avoid getting stuck under furnature that is about the same clearance as the height of the robot, and how reliably they return to base, especially if the base is somewhat obscured by furniture or whatever.
Good input. Thanks.
Can a dog prevent it from returning back to its docking station?
Awesome videos mate, have you had a chance to check the latest Samsung Jetbot 90 AI.
Can you do a similar video for Deebot T9+ vs S7+
I am looking forward to checking out that Jetbot, but it is on back order for now.

in some videos you mention Roombas advantage of a modular build with many available spare parts.
The second reason was the S9's performance on carpet cleaning, which I can vouch that is indeed very good in my experience.
the big difference between the 2 is that the s7 can't be found in Canada. That solves that.
Can you please do a Roborock S7 vs Ecovacs N8 in this series next? 👌Awesome video!
Good stuff here. My Roborock S5 gets terribly tangled with dog hair (4 dogs). I love pretty much everything else about it, but it makes me weary about buying another. I know the S7 comes with a rubber brush now, but the Roomba looks astonishingly good at not getting tangled.
Du wirst ihn hassen. Ich hatte den s9+ 2 wochen zuhause und habe ihn dann gegen den 1000 fr günstigeren s5 getauscht und es nie bereut.
Great comparison - thank you!
You're welcome!
Keep it up!
All good input. Thank you!
You recommend any robot with bag-less docking stations? I really don't like the old fashion bagged vacuum concept. Thanks
According to a review on Amazon supposedly the UK got a bag less model and I'm not sure if its true
Can someone please do a review on the Dreametech Z10 Pro Robot Vacuum?? It's basically the Roborock but with obstacle avoidance.
Come back around tomorrow at 4 PM EST for my full review of the Dreame Z10 Pro!
@@VacuumWars I'm hereeeeeee
Hello , do you know how to clean the filter ? Or does it need to be cleaned ?
can you please do one for the roborock S7 vs the samsung jet bot+ too? :)
i saw a review on another channel that tested to see if hardwood floors get scratched by robot vacuums. Have you seen any damage in your use of robots or plan to test this in the future? Thanks
If I were to have that happen, gosh that would be such a deal-breaker. Maybe some floors are more prone than others, but it isn’t something I have come across.
Uhhhk
If we manage to get our hands on a euro spec roborock with the bagless design, it should work just fine in the US, right?
check with roborock. The UK and US use two different standards of electrical current for appliances.
Like the format
Cool. Thanks.
Roborock vs Deedbot robot vacuum.... this is what I am trying to decide between. Next Matchup pleeeeese.
I like the format. Thanks
Good to hear. Thank you.
We have longer carpet, few hard floors, two people with long hair, and a St. Bernard who is shedding like crazy. Think the Roomba might be better due to the deep carpet clean and hair tangle resistance?
Can you compare the volume of the dust bin auto empty feature? My S9+ is kinda loud and jarring, looking to see if the roborock would do any better.
I had a horrible experience with the S9. Never once got it to complete a mapping run of a two-bedroom apartment. The S6 MaxV completed it perfectly on the first try.
I wish I knew what that was about. Thanks for sharing here.
For my unfinished basement which i use as a photo studio thus photographey stands etc are often moved around is the S7 a better choice due to the laser navigation?
Please do Roborock S7 vs. Ecovacs T9+. Thanks for your work!
Thanks! We don't have the T9 in the US. Maybe someday!
All said and done, after say, 6 months or a year, lets see which ones are still doing their job and doing it well, any "human required maintaining".
Thanks for the informative review. Are these models good at avoiding dog poops on the floor?
