New paramotor pilot here, 28 flights, flight 25 was my “most significant” reduction of my Fear of heights. Seeing this, because of the hours of kiting practice in wind, is a wonderful example of the need to be in control of your wing. I have never done the bring it up and jump off a mountain, but many of these launches prove why you should kite, a-lot, before you ever attempt to fly. Thanks for the video, watched to end 👍

I've been flying long enough to recognize all that old gear. I had an Edel Saber and loved it. I also flew Tiger mountain in 2011 where most of those videos are taken.

As a student myself currently, none of these people should be even trying to get in the air, their ground handling skills (or lack thereof) are atrocious!! Like wtf is this school doing letting these people fly!? The guy vomiting was excellent though. Haha
agree.. even if these are school pilots and they are making rookie mistakes, they shouldnt be in anything other than a school-hill.. i learned quite early on, if that you dont feel any lift at all in the chest strap when you are running and 2/3 down the takeoff place, you should stop.. and that girl without a helmet! like wtf! easy way to crush ones jaw.. and oheah.. talking abot "good schools"... mine taught me how to run.. and explisitly told me to not apply any breaks..brake-handles all the way up to the thing they go through. (after the initial inflation of the wing and getting it over my head and stopping it). so most of my early takeoffs were fun.. until i figured out that i had to apply a bit amount of breaks..
@@flying-oyvinator yeah, I only have 5 solo flights so far but for every minute I have been in the air I have probably done 2hrs of ground handling work, sounds like we both have good schools. No breaks take off sounds fun. hahaha
@@bikerdude923 solo? like without radio? i have never flown as a passenger in a tandem.. the last hight-trip i had was 800 meters or so was done without radio.. all other fligts were done with one... i have about 1 hour in the air if you compile all my fligts.. 3-4 minutes.. 5-8 minutes.. 15 minutes for that last one.. and as for no break running.. if i could run a wing into the air without breaks, i wouldnt be working in construction :-P also.. i suck at ground handeling.. i can get it up, but i cant hold it there.. and yeah im old and i know there is probably a pill for that

It seems as if the fresh "pilots" have made a bad recommendation about buying their parachute and underestimated the flight characteristics of sports parachutes, which do not forgive anything, like safe school wings. He can't fully control them, let alone start safely. It's more of a video of shame made up of non-professionals who should do everything, especially something else.

The description of this video is not relevant, the only thing I see here is the stupidity and lack of competences of the pilots. The paragliding nowadays is not like this !!
I did it for 10 years and made about 1400 flights. Mostly in high alpine places 2000 meters or above. My highest brought me up to 3600 meters. Apart some minor injuries, some blue marks, nothing happened. I never did this kind of stunts, like shown in this video.
@@thedudeabides3930 Thanks, but this is in fact no miracle. I had a very good teacher. In Europe you have to go to the flying school and you need to pass an exam, in order to get your pilot-license. Also your wing is considered to be an airplane and has to carry your license number on it.
Why are showing this? Do you our sport is wonderful, I flew since 1997, I do flight of 5 hours and more (between 30 and 100+ km) and I’ve never enjoyed this kind of thing in the video! There are a lot of beauty when you fly in the air, above the alps, mountains, lands, seas, lakes… they are about 2% of these bad pilots you see in this video, the 98% romain are really good pilots!
Everything has it's risk. Gliders are pretty safe and normally recover fast. Most accidents are because of pilot error and or pilots pushing the limit. Maybe you are just scared.

@@64vrox Yea had two friends crash, one into a fence, ended up two broken legs, the other one got caught in a bad updraft, spiraled and crashed, he didn't make it. Same with another friend of our family only in a Gyrocopter, crash in Death Valley, lucky some campers saw him otherwise not sure how he would have made it out. Beat up but lived. As my buddy who was a Navy pilot and instructor would always say, "stay on the ground at all costs."
