Even though the alt modes aren't perfect, I'm still amazed by the fact that this particular Megatron figure was able to triple-change, unlike Dropkick, Drift and Shatter from Studio Series. Great review of Studio Series 109 BB Movie Megatron, Ham-Man!
It’s impressive given that the bot mode has zero kibble I will give him that. He’s just not any fun to transform

People dont like the alt modes but me personally i think they do the job just fine enough and im glad they were prioritizing the robot mode
I know what you mean, I'm glad they exist so that he can do that thing they do but super happy that he was all about the bot mode.
The official modes of this thing look... less than stellar, but some of the fan-modes I've seen on Twitter are absolutely phenomenal
Yeh I’ve seen a couple of cool ones as well. I like the space gun modes

He’d be so close to my fav as well. I think I like the idea of sunstreaker more than the execution

Sight unseen I had put this figure in the "nice to have" column as opposed to "prioritise resources to acquire" because its a version of a guy I already have many versions of and didn't even have a real primary source as it were... but Damn this video.
You are correct, that is an amazing Robot Mode.

Mine's arriving any day now. And frankly, don't care for the tank, I hope the space bird mode which i do like the design of, stays together better on mine with the cannon.
You’re in for a treat my dude. The bot mode is so good that it eclipses any alt mode feels
@@HamManReviews Gladly, even though i am glad that he does have a flight-worthy alt mode, since it's always been my belief that as the leader of an army of fliers, he ought to be one too. If he's a tank, make it flightworthy like ROTF or FOC
But robot mode, other than a few touchups on the face to make it more distinct, he's perfect! The perfect Leader Megatron I've been seeking to match with most general Voyager Optimuses
@@HamManReviews Finally have him, and happy to report that he is as every bit amazing as I hoped for, and even possibly more. Not only that, I know it's jank, but I adore the space bird mode a lot. It's so damn fun, i've basically made it his main alt mode!
Gave him a loose TLK Leader Megatron sword, and he's all that I might ever need out of a Megatron, save, pershaps, for Animated's alt mode

I'm so hyped for this figure. February can't come soon enough. I've got Megs and Rumble pre-ordered and I can't wait. I absolutely love the Bumblebee and ROTB designs (except Pablo) and they made some banger action figures.

He’s very good, the wait will pay off. I tend to get stuff from Singapore a lotta the time. Their release dates are much earlier than Australia and ya can be sure ya actually get it. Our retail skips so much stuff.

Brilliant review my dude! . This figure looks brilliant, I have a similar gripe with the head looking too flat faced, maybe as you mentioned another colour to break it up a bit could have made a serious improvement

Great review and great figure. Mine is stuck since shipping problems with you know what in ME and protests in Germany. Preorders not from Pulse might take a bit longer to deliver. This might be the best recent SS toy, still I would love for head to look more like in render used for RotB mainline. Also I saw fanmodes for him on TFW, someone did his concept art altmode, that weird tron-like armored tank with cannon on side and it looked great. I'm sure he would looked great next to two Devcons. Maybe we will get those as commanders in the future.

This is probably the first time for me where the bot mode looks SO good that it completely eclipses both poor alt modes for me. Even with SS Bumblebee Soundwave, the bot mode was way better than the alt mode, but this Megs bot is better than 2 garbage alt modes! That's impressive
Totes agree. He’s so tight that just knowing he can transform is enough for me. Doesn’t matter what he turns into

I feel like they couldn't decide between tank or jet which are megatrons usual modes. If they had just made a choice it might have been a lot better since they would have had two solid modes instead of one really good bot mode and two weaker alts

Epic review Ham-Man!!! It stinks worse then a skunk spraying into a sewer line that, just because filmmakers were unable to decide if the Bumblebee movie was a reboot or a prequel of the 2007 movie, Megatron got the short straw and was cut from the film. lol Keep on being amazing.
