That Nascar blanket is very cool! I was thinking of setting a vacation message due to the store on ebay lol, but our post office was open and our neighbors cleared our driveway. I offered them some money for it and they kept saying no and refused to take it! So sweet! Good for you not taking returns on ebay, I never accept returns.
Aran is a type of sweater - not a brand! Aran Woolen Mills and Aran Crafts are two different brands. I’ve found “Blarney Woolen Mills” before too and they’re still Aran sweaters. Aran sweaters are just their own thing, I think just traditional Irish sweaters made of natural fibers, mostly wool. They all do great so doesn’t really matter.

Love the grandpa sweater you kept. I love it. That Paisley is a cute mess. She’s adorable. I’m with you on the returns for fit. Unfortunately, eBay almost enforces returns even if you have them turned off. The buyer can always again unfortunately, make up some other excuse or false claim and you have to take the return and pay the shipping back. That’s one of the best things about Poshmark, is they do not allow returns for fit. Buyers can be so lax and down right lazy, not all of course, about reading descriptions. If measurements aren’t given and you are truly interested in an item, message the seller and ask for them. If the seller doesn’t respond back, move on. That’s what I do. Sellers have a responsibility also to do accurate descriptions which we are human and can miss something on occasion, and I think, my opinion only, that sellers should be required to provide measurements. That would/could avoid a lot of extra messaging and returns. I mean it’s a hassle, and part of business, but it’s not only more for the seller, but for the selling platforms also, especially eBay, because they have to go through the act of refunding the fees back to the seller if there’s a return. No one likes being forced to do anything, but at the same time, if we are using a platform to sell, and paying fees, the sellers should have some input into the policies, not anything extreme, but things to make it smoother for the buyers, sellers, and the platform owners. I hope your no returns works out well for you. I know there are a lot of sellers that don’t accept returns and do very well. I mean, we want the buyers to be happy with their purchases, that’s what we want for ourselves as buyers. None of us are going to be happy, every time. I was a single Mom as well and I just think that mentality is there. Like it's almost guilt, but it's OK! You work hard, you take care of your babies, so Mama can be rewarded to. IDK if it's still like that, but as a kid I thought it was the coolest place ever! (I wanted to live in the Little House on the Prairie world and that was as close as I could get... lol)

Yes, I take measurements and just guesstimate size! If a brand has a size chart I can compare my measurements to that. 😊 but also measurements are extra good for vintage items!
