I've been reselling for 20+ years but just now starting to get into clothing so these videos are gold. I'm going to have to watch this video 4-5 times just to aborb it all. I've been getting a good amount of Polo Ralph Lauren and Daniel Cremieux, some used, some NWT and other misc. stuff, but still learning. Plus finally found my first, affordable legit vintage concert tee (nothing fancy just '96 Moody Blues, but still...). Love these videos and all your content!!
Even though I do wholesale, everything is still washed, zipped, buttoned prepped before being sold on the pallet. I can add this type of video to the list

Ooooooh that was close lol. You said echo and my echo device did not wake up haha. That’s its wake up word. I guess my tablet wasn’t a pie enough for it to hear. I am so excited about the two jackets that I have. I’m not a reseller. I only sell on marketplace right now, but I have a wool and leather sleeve Golds Gym coat. The stitching and embroidery is all in that beautiful yellow. I had a very hard time finding this on eBay. All the stitching on the back logo was in gray or other colors. This thing is immaculate absolutely beautiful. Then I have a Disney Mickey 1928 champion league bomber jacket. Clean very nice. The hood has been taken out and the tag is still there it came from the Disney store evidently according to the tag it is a size medium I believe based on the way it fits me and the fact that it was my brothers and he’s a very small person. I see they go from anywhere from $50-$400. I just don’t know that marketplace is the place to try to sell these in my area so I might have to get on Poshmark or eBay just to get rid of these two coats. I have much much more to sell. Vintage jewelry hats clothing glassware it just goes on and on. I need to stock up on my shipping supplies and I don’t have a label printer yet. I’m not going to be a full-time reseller I’m going to dabble because that nature I don’t have time for this because I have my brother and my mother in long-term facilities and it just takes up too much of my time.
You mentioned in a recent video that you use a gray backdrop for your photos. Love the idea as it makes perfect sense to produce accurate color reproduction in our photos. Is there a specific shade of gray that you use or recommend? Thanks for sharing your knowledge! You’ve definitely taught this old dog new tricks!

For me it would help if you would slow down and talk more about the items you get. You have so much good information, but it's hard to retain. Also, maybe give a free preview of the group calls. Thanks.
It's hard to go slow and sell hundreds of items. I know I go quick, it's a fine balance. Go slow, show 1 item or go a bit quicker sell much more. Can re-watch the video as many times if need be

I don't sell any clothing at all on ebay or online. I just have a little hat store I do for fun, just 20 a day. If it's not a vintage item for my brick and mortar store and it's clothing it goes on the pallet wholesale

Hey Tech, I'm a newer reseller, love your videos! In 2025 I would love to see videos about your thoughts on the mental health aspects of reselling. Very few eBay UA-camrs seem to talk about this, but the few that do, I have found to be immensely valuable. Topics might include how to maximize your storage space without feeling intruded on in your personal space while you're growing your store. I would love to hear about your early days, if you experienced any mental health struggles on your journey, because I've found it to be a surprisingly common thread in the reselling community, and hearing honest talks about it from successful resellers has been very beneficial for me. Thank you for all the consistent valuable content, appreciate you very much!!
Thank you for the ideas, I'll try to put that stuff into the mix. For me personally I don't experience a lot of set backs mentally like this. There are others that can speak to this kind of thing way better than me
No wow. 100k? NYC? Had to of been. I'm right in the zone of Syracuse, Rochester and Buffalo. Our winter weather kills outdoor things for 6 months. But there are good thrift varieties. If I get the knowledge to fly through the items I really should drive out of my area lol

Nothing you show there would I ever pass up if I saw it, I know what would sell; but here in Kelowna, we don't often get that kind of product come available at thrift. If it's at flea market, it's already priced up. Most of the thrift stores have already figured out the value and they also put a premium on these items. They put them in their boutiques and charge $50 for a tshirt. It's brutal here.

You know I love your videos but what would be helpful for me would be to go a bit slower and explain why you picked up an item that most people pass on. I know you pop up comps, but for example, you mentioned the cut-off jeans - it is one brand or the style or what? And then, with the new clothing grading, how do you know what is ok with flaws or even more desirable with flaws? Thanks Tech.
